The Bayern Munich sporting director is confident that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521 would sign a new contract inside the next few weeks after successful negotiations.
Bayern Munich bosses are seemingly relieved to learn that Arjen Robben has agreed to sign a new deal with the Bavarian giants. The winger had a long session with sporting director, Christian Nerlinger, who is delighted after possibly
convincing Robben to extend his stay at the Allianz Arena.
Robben has had a contrasting season so far but seems to have found his footing in recent weeks. The Dutchman has hammered seven goals in his last three outings in all the competitions which indicate the player’s strength and ability.
The attacker recently came under heavy criticism from the German media for not being able to perform well since coming back from injury. This also prompted Robben to consider his future in the country especially after an interest
from the English Premier League. However, the winger has responded brilliantly and played a crucial role in helping his side qualify for the UEFA Champions League quarter-final.
Robben previously demanded more time from Bayern bosses before signing an extension but it is now highly likely that the winger will stay at the club beyond this season.
Nerlinger confirmed of a successful meeting with the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 star and claimed that Robben will soon sign a new deal. "We are well on our way. Arjen looks like his old self. We have always known, quite clearly, that we want
to keep Arjen Robben,” Nerlinger further added.
On the other hand, Bayern president, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, also expressed his desire to retain Robben for a lengthy period of time. He mentioned that the winger is an asset for the club and praised him for his display in the last
