Christian Nerlinger tips Takashi Usami to be the next big thing- Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich Sporting Director Christian Nerlinger has tipped new signing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Takashi-Usami-c34524 to be the next big thing. He stated that the youngster has immense talent and has a very bright future with the club.
The chief added that the Japanese will be a great player to be in the squad and his addition shows the depth and the quality the club has.
Takashi Usami has been acquired by Bayern on a one-year loan deal from Japanese side http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gamba-Osaka-c39399. The loan-deal could be made permanent given the player’s performances in the upcoming season are up to the mark.
Nerlinger claimed that the club needed a quality back-up for Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, who have suffered persistent injuries in the past few seasons. He stated that the youngster has the quality to play wide on the pitch
and that he would surely develop under the world class players at the club.
The former Bavarian midfielder also expressed his desire to keep the midfielder at the club  in the coming years and admitted that they had been tracking him for a long time now.
“We were very interested indeed in signing a back-up for wingers http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521. We've been watching him for a long time, and we think he has huge potential as an attacking player,” he was quoted as saying in an
interview.
The Director insisted that the player has worked really hard in his first two training sessions with the squad. He vowed to support the player in the coming season and added that it will be a huge forward in his career when he
plays in the Bundesliga with some of the top teams in the world.
“I'm sure we'll enjoy having him with us. And in his first couple of squad sessions, he's demonstrated that potential. We'll give him the time he needs, and we’ll support him as best we can,” he concluded.
Christian Nerlinger made 156 league appearances for Bayern Munich and scored 27 goals in the process. The former player also had six international caps to his name.
