Christian Persecution in China?

Pastor Bike was arrested by the Chinese Government basically for being a Christian. He runs an underground Church because they won't let him preach in public. Guess it goes to show you it SUCKS to live in a Communist Country. And if you would Please sign the petition. (Atheists at least think of his humanitarian rights.)

I've spent a lot of time in China, and I can say that there is a lot of freedom there. Sure, you can't get involved in politics, or hold public protests, but you can go about your life without problems in general.

This guy has basically done something he knew to be illegal, he should not be surprised he was arrested.

I am seriously considering living in China long term because it's a great place to live.

He's trying to preach religion in another religious state. Communism as practiced is a religion.

as a christian, we are to follow the laws of the land. sorry, he broke the law. he knew that he couldn't do that over there and he still did. there are other ways to spread the word of God in a LEGAL manor.

first of all he has no rights in china, and he has no business preaching his righteous religious c**p where it dose not belong, If I was the government of china I would boot all of those saviors and bleeding hearts the h**l out of the country.

Yes Pastor Bike is one out of approximately 60-80 million underground Chinese Christians. We help out by contributing offerings to VOM (Voice of the Martyrs) when we can and we offer up prayers for the persecuted saints in China always. Hooray!  A gold star for the Chinese!  And, I totally disagree with you, my friend, the only good thing the Communists ever do is eradicate religion

It's very hard for me to think of the Christians humanitarian rights when they were single-handedly responsible for annihilating entire races of people in one swoop.  What's good for the goose, is good for the gander.  BTW, I don't see you feeling sorry for the American Indians for what was done to them in the name of Christianity.  You're barking up the wrong tree here

Yes, the government wants to control all thought even now when they are posturing as a superpower.  Hundreds of Christian ministers are in prison just for having services in their home, not even proselytizing.  It's really a shame.  There are groups that support the families while the ministers are in prison.
