German international, Christian Trasch, has reportedly agreed terms with the fellow Bundesliga outfit, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881, for the upcoming 2011/12 season. Trasch’s current club, VfB Stuttgart, claimed to be unaware of any such situation. The club were also confident
of retaining the youngster at Mercedes-Benz Arena for the next season.
The player, though, confirmed the reports and was pleased to be linked with the former Bundesliga champions. He was all praise for his current club and believed that Stuttgart have a host of talent coming up which would prove handful for Die Roten in the
near future. Meanwhile, Stuttgart President, Erwin Staudt, mentioned that the 23-year-old is bound to the Swabians and Wolfsburg would have to prepare a heavy offer in order to get the defender’s services.
Stuttgart coach, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bruno-c8098 Labbadia, told that the player was quite a revelation during the last season but was unfortunate for not getting the kind of support he deserved. The 45-year-old claimed that the youngster would not go anywhere despite being heavily
linked with Die Wolfe. Stuttgart offered a contract extension to Trasch according to which the player would earn 3 million Euros per year.
The manager further added, "The club has made Christian a fantastic offer. We really want him to extend his contract. We are very relaxed. We are under no pressure to sell him but we also have to think about the club."
Wolfsburg Chairman, Hans-Dieter Pötsch, stated that the club have already proposed a much better offer to the player and the defender would definitely be landing at Volkswagen Arena for the next season.
Trasch gained promotion to Stuttgart’s senior line-up in 2008, coming through the club’s second string side. The player has managed 83 league appearances to date for the senior outfit, netting in five goals during the process. He also has two international

Stuttgart were determined to sell the 23-year-old for no less than 12 million Euros, knowing the fact that the defender would be available on a free transfer at the end of the next season.
