If a child is taking somethings from my childs lunch because he wants more food should i pack more for my son so that he can share with the child? Should i tell my son tell on him? I really want to know what Jesus would do. I am very big on sharing.

  1. I would just pack something extra and attach a little note saying that it is especially for him.  Maybe even write "God loves you" on it.

  2. Why don't you ask Jesus?  Pray for the boy and his family.

  3. If you are in a position to send your child to school with more food, it would be a very loving act on your part to do that.  If would also be setting a good example about giving for your child, and if it could be done without embarassing the other child, so much the better.

  4. I'm sure Jesus would not want someone to take from your child's lunch. There are many factors. Is the other kid not getting any lunch and something should be done to help him or his family? Or is he just mean and stealing? To give him food if he is really stealing would not be helping him. I don't think your son should tell on him as much as you should talk to his teacher or some other school authority and maybe they could see what is going on with the other child.  Is he just taking from your son's lunch or have other kids had things stolen. This may have happened and your son did not know and the teacher did not know.

I'm sure Jesus wants us to share food with the hungry, he told us to. But I'm sure he would be against certain behaviors like stealing out of a lunch box or whatever. And turning the other cheek might not be the best thing with a child that may have a problem.

  5. Pack some extra if it doesn't hurt,as long as you know it's not a bullying thing.Help out if you can....atheist

  6. You should have your child tell the other child to ask his parents for more food for lunch.  IF the child's family can't afford more food, then I would pack a little more for your son to share.  Otherwise, this kid is just using your very nice child for freebies.  That's no habit to teach a kid early on.
