What do you think I have to believe to qualify as being a True Christian?

By all means pray for me - you are already wasting your time with your closed question so wasting a little more will not change anything!!

To be a true Christian try opening your mind , forgetting the usual Christian intolerance and persecution of non believers and see if you can become one of the rare ones that actually believe in a loving god!!

The main thing that you 'need' to believe is that God sent His Only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins, and because of this we can 'repent unto Him' !

The Bible is pretty clear...it doesn't matter what one believes or doesn't believe.  But, blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who, in His great mercy, has caused us to be born again into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ (I Peter 1:3).  A "true" Christian is one that is born again, by the mercy of God, into a living hope...that is alive to God, as He revealed Himself in the Bible, through Jesus Christ.  Alive, not belief, as in I am physically alive because my mother gave birth to me.  I don't believe everything she believes but I am alive nonetheless and if my experience thus far is any indication, I will likely believe more and more of what she believes before I die.
