- When lusting after another persons husband, or wife.

- as a way to deny your partner s*x.

The word never shows up in the new testament.

Let them be. Its natural. Christian or not. Every kid is gonna experiment. ESPECIALLY boys. You can just explain to them its ok, and their body goes through changes..probably give them a s*x talk. But thats about it.

It's going to be incredibly awkward for them if they're caught by ANYONE, especially their parents.

You need to make them feel less awkward.

Don't scream.

Don't freak out.

Don't beat them or force them to go to bible camp all summer because the devil made them m********e or whatever.

Just reassure them that masturbation is perfectly normal, apologize for intruding on their private time(yes, you DO owe them an apology), and maybe get them a lock for their bedroom door.

just have the talk with them. tell him that it is natural. and put a lock on his door. don't want to do that again do you? don't make him feel bad about it cause if you do then he will grow up messed up.

I'm a Christian boy and got caught during my masturbating by my mom.

Thankfully she handled it well. She backed out of the room so I could finish even though at that point I couldn't and couldn't think about facing her.

Later she said she was sorry for walking in when the door was closed and that she would always knock in the future.
