Question:

Christians, do we really love God with all our hearts?

This is not a judgemental question or a rebuke. I would just like to share that some of us even myself claim we love God. Yet we still do things that are contradictive to that statement. I just want to say that I will consider myself the lowest of lows. Everything the bible tells me not to be I am. After awhile Jesus delivered me from death many times. It took that for me to realize how deep this love is. So to return the favor we must truly follow God. We must not be lovers of money or women. Those are the 2 biggest temptations. My God has delivered me from out of the lion's mouth multiple times. Daniel could be envious! My God Almighty! To my fellow christians, love God with all your heart. If you dont then start practicing. Everything takes practice in real life and the bible. The only thing that doesnt take practice is believing. I didnt understand forgiveness until I was shown it. My God Almighty! My brothers and sisters, let us build each other up so that we may stand against the enemy. Love each other in the name of Jesus.

  1. Yeah!  My christian friend loves god so much she's willing to hurt her fellow humans, friends, and family and also cheat them financially for her own gain and also doesn't mind losing her family and friends if it means she can be a missionary and survive the floods, raging rivers and climb rocky mountains (hello??? Evolution. Earth. Not acts of god testing her faith!) Push the bible. Must push the bible. Don't worry about putting food into their mouths or showing them how to make their own food. Just push the bible. God will prevail for those lowly unworthy people. (Sarcasm)

Oh but she SWEARS she's the TRUE christian!!!!!

  2. I'm laughing so much right now.

  3. ...So, they should start a coherent conversation with other faiths?

  4. I do.

  5. A lot of Christians really love God with all their hearts, however I know so many that just love God because they have a fear of going to h**l.

If this is the case I am sure God (If he exists) will see through them anyway? Or am I wrong??

  6. My heart goes out to you.  I do not need practice to believe.  It is inherent.  I love him and adore him.  I have 'blind faith' since he has never touched me in the way he has you.  I wait patiently for him to come to me and make me his own.  My mind and heart are open to him and have never once doubted him.  In all the sorrows of my life I've known they have come for a reason.

  7. Amen. But remember, God also took the guilt of sin. For when we are forgiven by God, our past is forgotten. The hardest part of forgiveness is forgiving ourselves.

Peace be with you and live in the joy of knowing the Lord.

  8. I'm a action man cause I know that Jesus showed his love by action and not by words. if we are not doing what God commands of us, it's pretty hard to say that we love him because our action is going to show it and not tell it. if you notice, there is no where in the bible does Jesus tell people he loved them. he showed it.

  9. I love the Lord with all my heart, body, and soul..sometimes I fail at this, but I am still moving forward..loving my Lord and Savior.

  10. I rather BOAST of HIS LOVE for me!  His love is perfect but mine is not.  However He accepts me just as I am; so don't look at me as the author and finisher of our faith - Jesus is!

    Halellujah! Praise be to Jesus!

  11. I don't see how you can love something you can't see.  I can respect it, and believe it in totally, but "love"??   I can't quite grasp that concept. I can love it as in I love music, or I love an ideal, but I can't love with all my heart, because to me that is a physical reaction for a physical being that I can see, hear and touch.

  12. There's nothing wrong with loving money and/or women, after all they are part of God's world.  However, to be obsessed by them is another matter, and to think that they are an answer is to be deluded.  Neither money nor women can make one happy.  Happiness comes from within.  Not to say anything bad about money or women, but happiness only seems to come from without oneself.  Happiness can only come from inside and shine out.  You might be so lucky to be around a woman who shines out happiness, but it's ultimately your own happiness that can even recognize that.  Some people are so depressed that even when surrounded by happy loving people, they can't see it.

Don't be deluded that you deserve to go to h**l.  That's nonsense.  Nobody "deserves" to go to h**l.  We create h**l ourselves by our lack of awareness, but we don't "deserve" it.  We're just temporarily asleep.

  13. I love Him more than words can describe. But when it comes down to it, I don't know if it's enough. For example, I don't think I'd be able to sacrifice my child (given that I had one) a la Abraham and Isaac. I guess we will never know unless we're called upon to do something to test it.

Frank, I truly love God, I have accepted Him into my heart and I really do love Him, but I'm also scared of going to h**l. Does that make me a false Christian? (Sorry, that sounds really challenging, it's not meant to be!)

  14. Amen.  from your lips  to Gods ear!
