Following is a list of sins that God hates but it isn't an exhaustive list by any means. What may surprise many is that not only does God hate the sin but in certain circumstances He also hates the sinner. This go's against the grain of many of the preconceived ideas that some Christians have about God. Absolutely God loves and is Love but His patience runs out with anyone who continuously rejects Him and Jesus Christ. At such a time He has no other choice. Just to set the record straight, the saying of " God hates the sin but loves the sinner" is no where found in Scripture.

   Proverbs 6:16-19   "There are six things which the LORD hates,

Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him:

17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue,

And hands that shed innocent blood,

18 A heart that devises wicked plans,

Feet that run rapidly to evil,

19 A false witness who utters lies,

And one who spreads strife among brothers."

   Psalm 5:5   "The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity."

   Psalm 11:5   "The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, And the one who loves violence His soul hates."

What are some of the things that God hates...

The lusts of the flesh!  All sins...such as Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry,witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath,strife, sedition's, heresies,envyings, murders,drunkeness,revellings.   See !Corinthians 6:9-11:  "Know ye not that the ulnrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?  Be not deceived:neither fornicators,nor idolatorsm nor adultereers,nor effeminate,nor abusers of themselves with mankind,nor theives, nor covetous,nor drundards,nor revilers, nor extorionersm shall inherit the Kkingdom of God.  And such were some of you: but ye are washed,but ye are sanctified,but ye are justified in the the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of God."  

All of these come from the flesh.  People who are characterized by these things prove they are not Christians at all......Actual Christians may fall into them, but they will be miserable until they confess them to God!
