  1. WTF are you smokin' ?????

  2. The first prophesy recorded in the Bible, i.e Genesis 3:15, promised a SEED whom God will raise to restore what Adam and Eve lost because of their rebellion against God. (Ge 22:17, 18)

Everything else in the Scriptures revolved around  the fulfillment of that promise by God. Moses, David, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel and all the major prophets prophesied and gave details about the coming Messiah progressively. (De 18:15, 18, 19; Psalm 22; Isa 7:14; Jer 23:6; 33:16; Dan 9:24-27)

ALL were on the basis of that first prophecy ABOUT THE CHRIST! Without the Genesis account of Adam and Eve falling into disgrace a Savior  would not have been needed.

Further, God sent His Son to save mankind from sin and death. Since God chose His only-begotten son, instead of any of His perfect creatures, e.g. an angel, He showed His great love for mankind (John 3;16; Colossians 1:15)

Adam was a perfect man when he fell into sin and death. It takes another perfect man as a ransom for Adam's offsprings in order to satisfy the legal requirements God had incorporated into His laws (i.e. "soul for a soul").

Hence, God's Son had to become a man and offer his life as a ransom for those who would put faith in this loving provision. (Deut. 19:16-21; 1Cor 15:45)

  3. God had attributes He wanted to express. He was a healer, a savior, etc. He couldn't heal anything that wasn't sick. He couldn't save anything that wasn't lost. It was all in His plan for the fall to happen. And, without understanding the fall, you can't really understand why Jesus had to die.

  4. We must realize why we are sinful in the first place, and how we are to be forgiven of the sin, in order to have that sin forgiven.

  5. No fall, no incarnation, no need for atonement.

  6. If Adam and Eve didn't sin in the Garden of Eden, then there would be no original sin, and nothing for Jesus to save us from.

  7. We don't have to have knowledge of it. Who have you been listening to, the Pope?

  8. That question canm have a variety of answers.

I will attempt to answer it in 2 parts.

    1. That event tells why man is flawed and needs atonement in the first place.

    2. God's old testament (which was fulfilled; done aay with; Hebrews) does not include Genesis; which that event is recorded in. The scriptural old testament is the law of Moses which starts in Exodus 20.

law of Moses=old testament 2 Cor. 3:13-14 KJV.

  9. The fall of A&E is sort of the basis for the redemption by Christ.

  10. Because...

    1 Cor. 15:19-26

19If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

20But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

21For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

23But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

24Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

25For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

26The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

    and

    Romans 5:12-19

12Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

13(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

14Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

15But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

16And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

17For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

18Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

19For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

  11. What the h**l is a sonship?

  12. It is one of the three pillars of the plan of God.

    Creation

    Fall

    Atonement

A true understanding of these 3 events entails the purpose of life and salvation.

Simply put, everything in the creation was God's design and for the benefit of mankind.  The fall was not a mistake, but part of the divine plan.  In God's omniscience, the Lord provided a Savior for the redemption of mankind.  Because of the fallen man, a Savior is needed to conquer both temporal death and spiritual death.  By this means a mortal/immortal bridged the gap and offered an eternal sacrifice which enables man to return to God's presences.  Of course for this to occur, conditions were given in adherence to the ordinances and commandments of the gospel.

Adam fell that men might be, and men are that they might have joy.  The design of God is to bring his children back into his presence to partake of everlasting joy and eternal life with Him.

  13. How will you understand the necessity of atonement if you aren't given knowledge as to how this need came about?
