  1. I'm a Christian and Yes, I believe in Global warming. For some reason, there are alot of republicans who are so called Christians who believe it's ok to trash God's planet and that global warming is a joke.

  2. No.

    GEN 8:22

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

  3. I do.  That there's a worldwide climate change currently going on is undeniable.  What's debatable is just how much humans have to do with it.

Edit:  Ha ha, cadisney and I said the same thing, in different words.  Great minds think alike, eh?  ;-)

  4. Nope.  There is no solid proof (everything that people use as proof can also be explained by natural climate trends).

  5. What about all the cold winters last year?  Almanac says this winter even colder.

  6. After the winter we had up here in Canada, no I don't..

  7. I'm going to answer this question even though I'm not a Christian.

Since 1998, the Earth has been cooling. 1998 was the peak, when the Earth warmed up 1/7 of a degree. Since then, the Earth has already cooled that much.

Global warming is politics and always has been. In fact, 1850 was the coldest year in thousands of year, yet that is the year "scientists" use that year as the benchmark when proving their point. I'm glad you asked this because Religion is greatly politicized as well, obviously. I'm also glad to clear this up for anyone who believes in global warming.

Note: climate change is obviously happening, but there's never been a time in history when the climate wasn't changing. There's nothing in this world that doesn't change.

Also, with few exceptions, warmer temperatures has brought prosperity to the Earth. The first major civilization (Ancient Egyptians) prospered during a warm period, and suffered when the world cooled. The Roman Empire had the same thing happen to them.

Global warming is caused by the sun's activity. Every planet has warmed and cooled just as much as the Earth since we've had instruments measuring the temperature on the other planets in our solar system. Obviously, at the same time as us.

Sorry for ranting, it's interesting stuff though.

  8. Sure I do. I am just very skeptical of humanity's responsibility for it.

  9. The argument isnt whether or not global warming is real.

It is whether or not humans are causing it.

I see no real evidence pointing to that conclusion.

  10. You're kidding, of course. As a Christian I not only believe in it but know it is a fact that the Holy Bible predicted was going to happen. And now that it is starting to be fulfilled as stated by Scripture, people are coming up with all the scientific HOGWASH. But whatever.

Re:16:9: And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

Psalms:9:17: The wicked shall be turned into h**l, and all the nations that forget God.

Psalms:50:22: Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

  11. Yeah I believe in it.  But I also know most of it is natural.  This is not to say we should not protect the environment.  I am against littering using unnecessary pollutants.  But I dont think we should make environmentalism a religion.

  12. i wouldnt not know but its really hot in california.......Global warming?

    hahahahaha

  13. I don't believe it is being caused by humans, whether or not it is actually happening.  If it is, then God is in control of it and we don't have to worry about it.  Of course, I still think it's a good idea to clean up the air, even though I'm an evil Republican!  Yes, I'm skeptical about the fact that it is happening at all. I think Liberals use junk science to control people, just like they claim we use religion to control people.  It's another classic case of Freudian projection.
