  1. Generally, many atheists are as shallow as the Christians they debate with.  Christians claiming absolute knowledge and then in the next sentence saying they believe something, atheists claiming a doubt but no absolute knowledge.  At least atheists are honest, if you ask me.

I think atheists have a hard time getting past the word mystery that Christians use to back up the terminology "absolute truth".   They use this combination so indiscriminately and scientifically it is full of holes.  So the Christians have been taught to speak dishonestly about actual absolute truth and that they are well justified to discriminate against non Christians to keep their purity amongst themselves!

Many atheists will tell you what they doubt, but not what they believe.....somehow leading one to the conclusion that atheists don't see any reason to believe anything, and that is just plain false.  They might not realize what they believe or not be able to communicate it very well, but all our actions are based on what we expect from those actions and that is the makeup of belief or faith or doubt.

So this discrimination from false ideas of what truth or absolute truth is is what hurts atheists.  They physically take a beating from this, becoming the slaves of the more affluent networked memberships of the Christian gatherers, and all because atheists want to use some logic about stuff and really mean to be genuine honest people and see value in that.  But..

Life does not always seem FAIR!

Hi!  I am a Forgive Affirmed Spirit and this is what I profess and try to act like.

Forgive Affirmed Spirit is the belief in a way of life that is a method of grief resolution and functional communication processing involving active listenning, sympathy, empathy and affirmation of shock, denial, anger, guilt, depression, loneliness and hope...a kind of ego-equilibrium seeking methodology.

A Greater Works of communication and action, a way to learn to love your enemies "Advocating mortal life, Do unto others as you would have them do unto you AS IF YOU WERE THEM!"

And nobody is perfect!  NOBODY!  We are all judgeable, hopefully in a graceful discerning way!   We are all doing our best every moment!

Humans judge everything  as we are a part of it.  Without difference, we have nothing to live for, nothing to witness.  Sin is difference, the relative seriousness with regards to law and survival of other beings, is punishable by the courts. The best way to judge is with as much graceful discernment as one can muster in a given moment!

Life is the question(uncertainty) asked by the exhaling infinitely compacted imagination invention, or no thing, which is completely certain of everything, completely omniscient or all knowing.

When I die, I believe I will be in a new state, aware of all that is and yet divided into the nature of dust that I am in, whereupon my dust shall fall.  My being will remain an infinite part of an infinite being and infinite knowledge without my material human being status of now. So there will be a change.

But my soul, my passions and discompassions, will move on to infinite places of comfort and challenge.  Able to return to this state of uncertainty and free choice illusion for another ride when it is called effectively to do so.

So that the children of God, the creations of God, .. are actually part in parcel of that God or Creation Energy!

This  life is a roller coaster ride. Enjoy your passion within it and whatever gathering of two or more in Forgive Affirmed Spirit to make it better can garner.

Healing be unto you and yours and me and mine in

    Forgive Affirmed Spirit

  2. I am not mean

    Always

Only when someone is mean to me

I like all atheists and *some* believers

  3. Yes, if the athiests in the "real world"are anything like the athiests on this site. The ones here seem to lie a lot and take verses out of context. They seem to constantly Christian bash and post nothing of merrit.

  4. To be honest there are some that are mean but usually when you ask them why they are atheist they seem nice and really explain why most of the time in a respectable way...Although, no one should be mean

  5. Some are and some ain't, simple as that

  6. Not at all.  Having a belief in the absence of God does not make someone nasty, just as beliving in a god doesn't necessarily make you kind.

Atheists as a group are people, and individuals within the group have a variety of personal traits.

  7. Are you being serious?

I can't see why Christians would think we have no feelings, we're human too.

  8. no they do have feelings.... all humans do :)

they prefer to profess themselves as atheists when they don't get an answer from God... or because they convince themselves that He doesn't exist. which is actually silly, but mostly people start understanding things beyond a particular age, or after going through some drastic life experience, like a loved one's death...

  9. No feelings?

  10. I'm a Christian and I'm not always mean. Some things might be interpreted as such. Who is to know...I'm not perfect. Who is? To talk about atheists in this language is shallow. I'm sure all people have feelings that's apart of being human.

Hopes this didn't hurt you with my opinion.

    Love, Rosa

  11. You think I'm mean?

    Bwaaaaaa, you hurt my feelings!

  12. Most Christians I've met don't.

But if they stand with the bible and St Paul, it appears they ought to think of us as about the worst people on the planet.

    Romans 1:18-32.

I actually get on well with my parents...

  13. At least we wont throw you down "the pit of h**l" or dash infants on rocks

  14. I'm not mean. I just don't care.

  15. This is the Internet, Everyone is mean here

  16. In general, yes. I think they are really mean. Very snotty and not really interested in learning about other peoples religious beliefs. It's just sort of a vibe they have that says "I'm too good for you!"

I've also had the misfortune of finding a few that lie about me and my beliefs. They think the lies will discredit the things I say, but they won't. Just because they lie won't bring me down into the gutter with them.

  17. Of course not. I'm a Christian, and have many friends and colleagues who are atheists. On the whole, I've found them to be very kind and highly moral people. They also tend to be intelligent, and have a keen sense of humor.

  18. You can be atheist and be nice. However, atheists are still lost and they need the Lord Jesus Christ in their lives for salvation and to have a relationship with God. Atheists should know the truth that God does exist! Once they give their lives to Christ and they grow in their relationship with Jesus, then they can know and experience God's love and plan for their lives.

  19. No I guess not some are like some Christians are. My cousin is agnostic and sometimes shes atheist lol and she pretty mean and heartless

  20. You smell nice

  21. I think they're nice. Although, there are some mean ones. Just like there are nice and mean people of other groups.

  22. I don't like to include any group of people in any such a broad statement.  I'm sure that there are just as many nice atheists as there are mean ones.  Just like there are a lot of mean and nasty Christians.  And nice ones as well.

  23. Nah, they are humans like everyone else. They could be mean like some christians could be mean too.

  24. No - why would they be mean? They just have different views on religion and God. It does not make then mean.

  25. Yes.

They are offensive and rude, oh, and they judge me 'cause i'm Christian
