Christians: Does it make you feel like a real Christian when you say "Yeshua" instead of "Jesus"???

Seriously...is this some sort of pride type of thing? "I call Jesus 'Yeshua' because that makes me sound holier."

So Christians...why?

  1. I think some people like it because it is probably closer to what Jesus's contemporaries actually called him. However, the original New Testament text is in Greek - i.e. Jesus.

  3. It is merely Hebrew, not Greek.  

    I don't feel holy or less holy: He is the holy one, not me.

  4. A holier-than-thou self satisfied smuggishness is the sign of a true christian.

  5. That's ridiculous. No, I don't FEEL like a Christian. I KNOW I am a Christian and it doesn't make me feel any better.
