Now, I have my own ideas and everything, but I would like to know your thinking for some stuff...

Why fight and say "g*y's shouldn't be married", but believe in God?

I know that''s a bit confusing, but here we have a God who gives EVERYONE(g*y, straight, Jewish, Islamic, English, African) free-will... and then we go and tell people... "hey, you can not sin"... now to me that seems a bit hypocritical. I mean, what is wrong with having that out there? The first century christians had it there way more in their faces than we do...

I know that was kinda ranting, but I just wanna know your thoughts...

  1. you have everything mixed up man. Just cas we have free will doesnt mean its okay to sin. God gave us free will and we are born with a sinful nature. homosexuality is a sin but our sins are just as bad.

  2. This is a God fearing nation and the family is its core value.

  3. I know I'm not a Christian, but still...

In the US, it shouldn't be legal, because of separation of church and state. Marriage is a legal contract here, not a religious one, so we should not be going by what one or two specific religions say on the matter.

  4. sorry but you have things mixed up.

We are not free to break the law of God just as we are not free to break the Laws of our land. We can break them but should we not be punished for breaking them.

So why then should we not be punished for breaking the laws of God if we break them.

  5. bullshit. stop living in fear. let me say something about "separation of church and state" its complete bullshit. if that statement were true then it wouldnt be up to what christians believe morally but what the person who wants to get married believes.  see what im saying that law is based on religion. religion ruins everything. seriously why cant christians (well most) keep there beliefs to themselves instead of trying to shove it down everyones throat. ill tell you why because its one of if not the most accepted religion in society and the majority will agree to not look bad. BECAUSE THERE AFRAID. religion shouldnt run anyones life it should be something a person "personally" uses as a guideline.

  6. Just for once I'd like one of you insufferable, arrogant, irrational purveyors of unnecessary pain and suffering understand what it is like to be one of the alienated outcast of your hypocritical and intolerant assumption of false righteousness.

Get this straight right now.  Take you illogical, irrational, hate-mongering assumption of infallibility together with your prideful and pharisaical interpretation of “sin” and stuff ** ***** *** *** **** *****.

Just once I’d like one of you so self righteous purveyors of condemnations to admit that just maybe you could possibly be wrong.

There is NOTHING immoral about two people falling in love and getting married!  And just ONCE I would like one of you to admit that we have exactly the same right to our belief as you do.

STOP with your persecutions, your intolerance, your bigoted assumption of infallibility!

You were WRONG about slavery for 1700 years.  You were WRONG about women’s rights for 1800 years.  And you are wrong again!

Just once I would like some so-called Christian actually admit that he was NOT infallible!

    =================================

and GC, we are not asked to fear God but to love Him with our whole heart.  As for family -- we just want you to allow us to have them!

  7. Yes God gave us all free will.  To do as we please.  To serve Him and live a righteous life or to deny Him and live a sinful life.  God never said you can't sin, He says you shouldn't.  Sin separates us from God and God doesn't like that, but He lets us do it.  He loves us so much that He lets us choose our path, but we must remember we must pay the consequences.  The wages of sin is death.  If you choose God you choose life everlasting w/ Him.  God loves everyone (He loves the sinner, but hates the sin), but not everyone will make it to heaven.  We choose our eternity by our actions and the life we live.  Choose God = Life everlasting w/ Him in heaven.  Choose against God = eternity in h**l.  We make the call ourselves.

    By the way...

God said it, THAT settles it.  He does not need you believing His Word in order to make it true or not.  His Word is truth regardless if you believe it or not.

  8. Yes i agree with you.. It is hypocritical .. I think God should be the one to decide whats right and whats wrong.. And the bible says Judgement is a sin.. But people interpret the Bible in different ways.. I hate it when people judge other people when they should take a good look at theirselves in the mirror..  God Bless!!

  9. marriage is only between a man and a women as God intended

  10. thats right , its like u can do whatever u want what comes afterwards is god's decission and then u do it and they try to punish u for it

seth and the other one : plz read the whole question before u answer it... if u had, im sorry u guys are stupid

  11. How can Christians bring glory to God by endorsing what God condemns?

  12. Bottom line is what someone else does in their bedroom is no ones business.

g*y marriage hurts no one.  Religious fanatics must not be allowed to force their asinine dogma into our laws.

If you are against g*y marriage than don't marry a g*y person.  Otherwise it is none of your d**n business.

I have no patience for bigots.

  13. I am a Christian, and I'm a longtime supporter of g*y rights. All people, regardless of background or sexual orientation, deserve to be treated with dignity.

  14. Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable" (Leviticus 18:22) and "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads" (Leviticus 20:13)"Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion" (Romans 1:26-27).

clearly the Bible points out it is wrong and perverted.

ipersonally don't care if they want to have but s*x all day long, but its wrong, they can do what they want but i fear for them on Judgment day. we cant stop u just tell u whats right and wrong.

  15. Homosexuality is a sin. We are not to continue in our sins. Look in John 8:1-11. It's when Jesus meets the woman at the well. He tells her she is forgiven and to not sin anymore.

  16. No Jesus did not die to give everyone freewill. He died to free people from the bondage of sin so that they would be free not to sin. Read Romans 6 and it gives the details.Homosexuality is sin, it is not a genetic group. The only freewill that people have is the freedom to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and follow his ways, or reject Jesus which means rejection of eternal life.

If I were silent and did not speak the truth then I would be guilty of their destruction. I have nothing against them but I must speak the truth so that some may be saved.

  17. I go with the Bible on this one. That's all we as Christians can do.

  18. Actually, same-s*x marriage was outlawed in Rome by the emperor as a political move after he adopted Christianity. Christianity, you see, had a model of god over man and the king between god and men, and that sort of reassurance was needed. After all, they could no longer claim divine descent from the adopted Grecian gods--too many generations gone by.

So really, it's Christians that first changed the definition of marriage. We just want to change it back.
