Have you ever wondered if it wasn't really written by God?

I have one original written by Barnabas which mentioned Muhammad (saw) 15 times, so I do not question my bible.I am Muslim.

I know it wasn't written by G-d.  Rather it is the inspired word of G-d as written by men on Earth.  It is the best example of inspired writing, as well as the best guide for living (New Testament, for me) yet in print.

There have been times that I read something that doesn't make sense, but then I study and get the full context of it, and I see it in full light.

The Bible was authored by God, inscribed by man by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible contains 66 books, was written by over 40 different authors, contains several different literary styles(History, Prophecy, Law, Songs, Poetry, Wisdom, Chronology, and personal letters), with no section contradicting another.

It wasnt written by God.  It was written by men and in most cases, we know which men.  I am a Christian, and I do not see the need in making up things to make the message more compelling.

It was written by men but inspired by God.  At one point in my life I rejected the bible, but I came to realize that the historical  reports from the time of Abraham onward  were reliable history. althought there was some hyperbole.  As to the new testament, the four Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles are very good histories, although the events of the Gospels are not always in proper sequence.

No, because I never was taught that it was written by God.  I'm Catholic, and I was taught that the Bible is God's holy word, but it was written by men.

Inspired men, true:  inspired by the Holy Spirit.  But 'inspired' doesn't mean infallible.

Plus there's all kinds of stuff in the Bible that is not history or science, as some radical fundamentalists tend to purport: allegory, poetry, even recipes.

I don't question it at all. This is the best self-help diet book i ever found. Im going to lose all my wieght eating the body of christ and live for 800 years. Thanks bible you really do work!!
