  1. Bible truth?Like how the mustard seed is the smallest seed?

    It isn't.

  2. Jesus said you most eat my flesh and Drink my Blood, or else you will have no life in you! This is the Holy Eucharist.

If you need proof. google Lanciano Eucharistic Miracles.

  3. Go to their Web site and read their statement of faith.

"the chosen one" is correct. God will speak to you through His Word. God will also speak to you as you attend or check out various congregations.

  4. compare what they say and preach and teach to what is said in the bible...

  5. "Bible truth" is an oxymoron. It's like saying "wet dry"

  6. If it is a 'christian' denomination, it does NOT follow scripture.

  7. Here is 50 simple reasons, to assure your self, the church´s pastor is not picking JUST the cherry

  8. Quote: Jesus said you most eat my flesh and Drink my Blood, or else you will have no life in you! This is the Holy Eucharist.

If you need proof. google Lanciano Eucharistic Miracles. Unquote

Therefor they are only a proper church if they are a bunch of Cannibals.

  9. Act 17:11  These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

  10. I study the bible

  11. I would recommend reading The Bible yourself first and come to your own common sense conclusion on what you are reading then compare that to what a particular church is trying to tell you what it all means. Don't feel guilty that you don't agree with them and seek another church for it is better to not go to church at all then to go to a mislead church. God won't hold that against you.

  12. I can't tell you from scripture but all churches have people who are not as close to God as others... to put it in a nice way.  Every church and every preacher has their own translation of the meanings of the truth.  I suppose you can say we define things by the way we can apply it to our lives.  My suggestion is to pray about it and visit many different churches and talk with the pastors and members about their beliefs and lifestyles.

  13. how do I know?

I read and study the Bible...

    How could you know?

the same way, and to ask them their opinions on the Bible.  This should give you some clue... if you ask them what they think about a couple controversial issues it would quickly show if they are sticking to the Word or not...

    you could ask

    .... their beliefs about h**l?

.... about Jesus being the only way?

.... about the Bible being the Word of God? (as opposed to "containing the Word of God")

.... if they believe the Bible is inherrent and infallible.

.... it should be easy to tell at that point...

I would just be careful to not come off as offensive, just asking honest questions cause you need to know.

Last thing I think is important is... when you go to the church is the Bible being taught, or is it just referrenced?  Are they teaching the Bible in a way that honors it and explains it?

    Hope that helps...

  14. it depends on what you believe. the bible can be interpreted a million different ways. if you feel comfortable with what they are teaching, then it is right for you. who cares what other people believe

  15. How to Identify True Religion

What good fruit should true religion produce?—Matthew 7:17.

    True Religion . . .

    ▪ PRACTICES LOVE: True worshippers are “no part of the world,” are not divided by race or culture, and display ‘love among themselves.’ (John 13:35; 17:16; Acts 10:34, 35) Rather than killing one another, they are willing to die for one another.—1 John 3:16.

    ▪ TRUSTS GOD’S WORD: Instead of teaching “tradition” and “commands of men as doctrines,” true religion bases its doctrine on God’s Word, the Bible. (Matthew 15:6-9) Why? Because “all Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight.”—2 Timothy 3:16.

    ▪ STRENGTHENS FAMILIES AND UPHOLDS HIGH MORAL STANDARDS: True religion trains husbands to ‘love their wives as their own bodies,’ helps wives to develop ‘deep respect for their husbands,’ and teaches children to ‘be obedient to their parents.’ (Ephesians 5:28, 33; 6:1) In addition, those entrusted with positions of authority must have exemplary morals.—1 Timothy 3:1-10.

  16. read the bible?

  17. It is hard to determine what is or is not true in the bible.... the all knowing perfect god created a book that is so difficult to understand that only certain people can decode it's message...unfortunately all of those people disagree on what the book says so in the end we are all going to burn in h**l... and god knew that when he created us because he knows everything.. he knew we would use our free will and deny him yet he created us anyway.

  18. If what is being taught dose not have a" thus sayeth the Lord", (book chapter and verse). Than it dose not come from God and His word.

Col 3:17  And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

We are to speak the same thing: 1Co 1:10  Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

This is what is to happen if their is division!

Rom 16:16  Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.

Rom 16:17  Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

Rom 16:18  For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

This is what Jesus said, The Lord's Prayer John chapter 17 (read it all).

Joh 17:8  For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

Joh 17:9  I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

Joh 17:10  And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

Joh 17:11  And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

Joh 17:17  Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Joh 8:32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
