  1. I don't pray as much as I should, but when I do, I always say thank you God for everything that you gave me, and thank you for everything that you didn't gave me, even in though times, I don't like to ask for something, He will give me everything I need.

  2. Periodically during the day, I pray.

Wasn't today a great day? Shouldn't I thank someone for today?

Shouldn't I be thankful for a great life?

Shouldn't I be thankful for the million miracles that occurred today?

    Why?

Life is so good it would be a crime not to thank God for each day.

    God love you!

Thank God for Ol' Doc: typing the same post, again and again, so we can read it again and again.

  3. We don't have set prayer times per say We pray whenever it is pressed upon our hearts or when ever we just want to talk to our loving Father in Heaven. We can lay anything at his feet!

  4. When ever I want.  Anything I want.  To communicate with God and ask for His guidance.

  5. Prayer isn't just something we should use when were in trouble or when we really really need God. Prayer is simply "Communication with God" through a Relationship with him. Prayer comes from the heart, The Lord doesn't care how or where you pray, as long as its from the heart.

We should always be in constant communication with God daily, whether its just recognizing his presence while remaining silent, praising him and worshiping him through words or music, or just simply speaking to him about certain matters of Life.

As a Christian, the feeling of having a Relationship with the Lord through Jesus Christ is an amazing feeling and experience. You want more and more of God, you hunger for more and more of him, and you want to do his will and the plan he has for you daily.

But im not perfdect either, I ask for lots of things from him daily, but I always ask for his will to be done for me daily, and for him to give me the strength that I need through all circumstances that I face, to send into my life whoever he wants to send, and If he should lead someone to me seeking to know the truth that I may present the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them as lovingly and effictively as I can.

  6. I am a Mormon...

I pray to my Heavenly Father.  I thank Him for, well, what I am thankful for - the gospel, my family, my husband and I's good jobs, for the temples, etc.  * I forgot to say I do that every night.*

We also pray at meal times, to bless the food and to also take another opportunity to thank Him for all we have.

I also ask for things - like "helps" or to be a good wife and mom... things like that.  I don't really ask for things that are worldly.

I pray because I am thankful for all that I have, I pray to show grattitude, and also to repent and ask to be better.  I pray because I have seen the outcome of prayer.  My prayers are always answered.  I don't have an unanswered prayer.

  7. Through most of the day I open myself to guidance. It doesn't take words, it's just an opening. I consider that prayer.

  10. Usually at least five times per day.  Before each meal, first thing in the morning and the last thing at night.

My prayers are prayers of thanks, requests for guidance and strength, and prayers for growth.

I pray not so God knows what I want or need, but to place myself in the presence of God.  God already knows what i want and need, but I pray to make myself aware of what I need and to remind myself that all good things come from God.

  11. Here's the thing about prayer...

Trillions and trillions of prayers every day asking and begging and pleading for favors. 'Do this' 'Gimme that' 'I want a new car' 'I want a better job'. And most of this praying takes place on Sunday. And I say fine, pray for anything you want. Pray for anything. But...what about the divine plan? Remember that? The divine plan. Long time ago god made a divine plan. Gave it a lot of thought. Decided it was a good plan. Put it into practice. And for billion and billions of years the divine plan has been doing just fine. Now you come along and pray for something. Well, suppose the thing you want isn't in god's divine plan. What do you want him to do? Change his plan? Just for you? Doesn't it seem a little arrogant? It's a divine plan. What's the use of being god if every run-down s*****k with a two dollar prayer book can come along and mess up your plan? And here's something else, another problem you might have; suppose your prayers aren't answered. What do you say? 'Well it's god's will. God's will be done.' Fine, but if it gods will and he's going to do whatever he wants to anyway; why bother praying in the first place? Seems like a big waste of time to me. Couldn't you just skip the praying part and get right to his will?

  12. I pray every night -- mostly for world peace; for the health and safety of those I care about; for the souls of the dead; and for an affordable, competent publisher for my poetry books and a good local place to sell my crafts. Need I say more?
