  1. Not a thing wrong.  Too bad the english language has only one word meaning love, when there are so many types of love out there.  Then you wouldn't have to worry about it being taken the wrong way.

How about if you say Agape

Agape – selfless altruistic love; spiritual

  2. Because of Jesus' love, I can love others. Not sure if I'd be able to very well without his love. Thank God for that! :)

  3. It doesn't matter as much as God's love.

  4. Why not both. Jesus loved us first and then asked us to love one another

  5. I couldn't agree more!

  6. Because it may not be true in each case.

But it is always true that Jesus loves us.

  7. No thanks

  8. GOD is love,   I GOD you.

  9. Jesus is more than just a mortal. He is the son of God. He is the word of God come to us in the flesh.  His love for us is far greater than any other mortal's love could ever be. He laid His life down for us because He loved us that much. No other man or woman would or could do what Jesus did for us. Jesus does love you!

  10. Well God first loved us.  HIs Love cannot die or diminish, it can only grow in us.  The best way of loving Him back is to love others.  Just as Jesus commands us to do.

So with that sort of love (Agape Love)  Christians do love you.

The sad thing is that in society today the majority of people think love revolves round s*x.  To them if someone says "I love you" they think that person is saying "I want you".  In that outlook they limit themselves.  So no longer know how to really love

  11. Fine with me.

I love you because Christ first loved me.

  12. Good suggestion.

It's easy to assign someone else's love.

  13. i can only love them so much... if they wonder at why i say Jesus loves them, they will unearth such a treasure... the Friend that sticks closer than a brother.

  14. No, I'll only say it to people I genuinely have affection for.

  15. we're just trying to spread the joy of the Lord when we say that. I do like that question

-Jesus loves you! -I love you! (not really ;) )

  16. human love is conditional and is based on emotions , Jesus love is unconditional

  17. Jesus gave two great commandments

    1. Love God

    2. Love your neighbor as yourself

    Peace

  18. If they said "I love you" you wouldn't believe them.  If they say Jesus loves you, well if you don't believe in Jesus to begin with, you're less likely to argue about that.

I saw a bumper sticker I liked.  "Jesus Loves You, and I'm Trying".

  19. Excellent suggestion!

  20. Because that would be lying.

    They don't even know me.

  21. I can't save you, Jesus can.

  22. I love you. Now I need to tell you to repent of your sin and trust in the savior for forgiveness of sins.

  23. wouldnt be true with strangers..

  24. I love you, too.

  25. I'm pretty sure a lot of people would take this the wrong way.

  26.   I see your point and yet I agree with Nina's point. I get a little tickled when someone tells me they love me with the love of the Lord cause I think to myself is it because they have no love of their own for me. I know most don't mean it that way but there are a few that make me wonder.
