Christians... What exactly would have happened with my mother?

I'm just curious... My mother past away almost 8 years ago, now... she was a strong believer in God and never once in her life doubted his existence, she however was not one to practise the teachings of the bible, she pretty much did want she wanted, when she wanted to do it, not drugs or alcohol or anything like that, she was never in to that stuff, she loved her children deeply (that's why we miss her so much) but never pushed religion on us, she always believed that her children should be able to make their own choice when it came to God. So what exactly would have happened with her, would she have went to Heaven or h**l, or somewhere in between, etc... And don't worry... your answer will not make me hate you or anything of the sort, I am not like that, thank you in advance, have a good evening... or day, wherever you are.

  1. There are many people who believe there is a God but they do not serve him. The Bible says that even the devils believe in God and tremble. In Christianity, we have the term "Saved" and the term "Lost". Being saved is as easy as ABC. A, Admit to God you are a sinner, repent and turn away from your sins, B, Believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He gave His life for you and me,C, Confess your faith in Jesus as your Savior and your Lord. A person who has not done that is considered lost. There is only one way to be saved and that is through faith in Jesus Christ. Being good and moral is not enough. Please read the Bible yourself so that you will see the truth of what I'm saying and not just making up my own ideas. Seek and you will find.

  2. well that doesnt depend on how she lived it depends on if she had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She sounds like she was a good woman with God's love in her... only thing is if i had a relationship with Jesus and knew the difference between heaven and h**l i'd want my kids to have it too. never the less no one on here can determine for sure what happend to her.

  3. the bible says who ever calls on the lord jesus christ will be saved.you don't know what your mom was doing or thinking just before she died.GOD only knows.if i based it on ONLY the info you said.and she died that way. i believe she is not with the lord.why there is no mention of jesus christ. even satan believes in GOD.

  4. Baxter,  that is not for us to judge, God knows your mother and He is a just God and will judge accordingly. He knows what was in her heart.

  5. I can not say. I do not know her heart.

God does and will judge her accordingly

  6. I am sorry for your loss of your dear mom.  We trust her soul to a merciful and loving God.  That means, that although we can never know with certainty her or anyone elses' fate, we believe that those who loved and sought God in their mortal life receive their answers and eternal peace.

  7. NO ONE can answer that.  I think God is in charge.  If anyone does answer, they shouldn't.

  8. She is resting in peace awaiting the return of Jesus.  We will all be judged at the same time.  No one will burn in h**l forever.  We will be in heaven or be resting in peace.  God is mercy and justice.

  9. Did your mom give water to the thirsty (even if an enemy?) did she feed someone hungry, or clothe the naked, did she visit those in prison or comfort anyone sick.

What she did to the least of men, she did it to the Lord.

Just as many who thought they would enter in will not. So will many who think their not,  will enter...
