Christians: What if an extraterrestrial civilization contacted us?

And, in the process, we learned much about them, also learning that they are atheists. What would your reaction to this be? Would you go up and talk to a civilization that had the power to contact us and say that they are wrong?

There are no "extraterrestrials".  There are demons that pretend to be aliens, to deceive people.

I think they would say something along the lines of:

WE ARE THE BORG. YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED

RESISTANCE IS FUTILE

Technological advancements doesnt mean they have the authority on spiritual knowledge.

What if it were reverse?  What if aliens came and believed in the same doctrines, including a savior, as Christians?  Would atheists consider that maybe there was something to the doctrines?

What an alien race believes would not effect my belief. The odds of us "going up" are almost nonexistent. The distances are phenominal. We also have the power to contact, if you are interested have you heard about SETI. The link is below. You can help analyze data that SETI has received. Who knows maybe you will be the lucky one that gets the message?

But I disagree!  I don't know what my reaction would be because I do believe that every one has the right to choose their faith.
