Every Christmas I find a present under my tree. He comes down the chimney. I love him so much, and I know he loves me immensely. He proves his love to me every year, and I can feel it in my heart.

  1. You address this question to Christians only.

Not to the Muslim, not the Jew, not the Hindu and so forth.

    Only the Christian.

You do so because you know that Christ is the only Saviour of humanity and it distresses you.

Jesus Christ is called in Scripture the Stumbling Stone and Rock of Offence. He stands in your path and will not budge.

For you, an atheist, to spend your precious days here addressing Christians when Christ has addressed you, shows that your reasoning is this:

if you can dismantle the Christian, you can dismantle Christ.

No one has ever succeeded before and no one ever will.

Santa Claus has nothing to do with the gospel of Jesus Christ and any adult would know that.

  2. I would say...you are an idiot.

  3. well...first of all...Santa Claus...better known as Saint Nicholas...was a real person....Coca cola turned him into the man we know today. He is the saint of children and the poor because during his lifetime he gave to children and the poor, which is where the story of him at christmas came from..he gave to the poor just as the wisemen gave to Jesus. There is  story of two sisters who wanted to marry..but had no dowry because they're father was too poor, so the story goes that St. Nicholas left a dowry in each of they're socks that were drying by the fireplace over the fire (which is how people dried they're clothing back then in the winter when it was snowing, as the snow would of course just either freeze the clothes, or keep them wet..anyway) he left them a dowry so they could marry. which is where we get the tradition of the stockings by the chimney...with care...so they didn't fall and burn, and possibly burn the house down. I guess the only thing I could say as far as you believing in a man who has died (with no stories coming up of his resurrection) and that he comes to your house, and down a chimney, etc....and leaves presents.etc...I guess I would have to know a few things...how many people have seen your santa and can testify to him? any family members or friends who would come forth to truly and honestly testify that they did not leave the present?...do you actually have a chimney? and if so...in today's technology..could you take a picture of him the next time he comes? see...because most likely..if we had that technology back when Jesus walked the earth..or when God showed himself to Moses..more than most likely..they would have photographed it. other than that..I'm glad you love him soo much, and given that he was a saint..it would mean he had faith and belief in Jesus Christ..which means he is in heaven..which means he does love you..so I won't dispute that, and since he loves you..I'm more than certain you would feel that in your heart.....one thing to consider....he was a saint..which means he believed in Jesus Christ..so that being said..if you love him..and believe in him..and therefore trust in him...would that not mean than..that he wouldn't lie to you...and therefore if he had faith in Jesus...it must mean Jesus was real? and therefore...maybe while keeping your belief in Saint Nicholas, and loving him, and feeling his love for you..maybe you could then also try to give the main person he believed in and followed a try? just a thought.

  6. If you are older than 10, I'd tell you you were wrong.  (I wouldn't want to tick off your parents needlessly.)

It's ok if you tell me I'm wrong too.  I can take it.  I'd rather hear that than some postmodernism garbage.

  7. maybe santa's spirit lives in all the people who gave you those presents. Get it? *wink wink*

  8. Saint Nikolaus was a great person and I don't think there is anything wrong with pretending. Actually, I celebrate St. Nikolaus day on Dec. 6th, separate from Christmas.

  10. Cool. But will He save you from zillions x zillions x zillions plus yrs. of pain, agony and extreme torment? Well it may not seem that bad to you, take a few minutes and look this article over and see if maybe it's something you would prefer.

    Take care.

  11. Saint Nicolas was a real person a Turkish bishop in fact. Why would you not believe in a real person who had walked the earth?

Who really gave to strangers without there knowledge.

As for the Coca Cola round red suited, rosy cheeked,  beared Santa you are free to think of him what you will....
