The number of beasts in the ark

GEN 7:2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.

GEN 7:8 Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth, GEN 7:9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.

Insects do NOT have four feet

LEV 11:21 Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth.

LEV 11:22 Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.

LEV 11:23 But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.

A question asked yet will not listen to the truth. Jehovah God is Jesus Father. If not, why does John 3:16 exist. I'm going to leave it at that. This question has been asked and answered so many times. It's a good question though. But, one that is looked upon by blinded eyes. Have a great day.~

Insects DO have four feet. They also have two arms. Next time you see a fly on the wall, take a look at his two front legs. It will use them like arms. Maybe God considers them arms, though we today look at them as legs. It's not an error, just a different way of looking at things.

Jesus is one with God. The Father is greater than earthly Jesus. Jesus ascended to Heaven. He is one with God.

It said "They went in two and two." Two animals at a time. It's not hard to see that. Some people WANT to see it the wrong way.

A family is ONE. A team is ONE. Think Team God.

God designed and commanded that there would be a huge variety of development, changes, adaptions etc in all species just as science has proven. Now you see the development of such a large variety within species (e.g more legs). There are no beetles changing into non-beetles however.  Not all those forms of species that exist today were on Noah's ark. It was absolutely not necessary and all that was needed to develop so many kinds was the beginning few.

Equal to or lesser than God? He is one and the same thing. The Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit)

Jesus was in submission to the father,  so Jesus was under the authority of the Father, so in that respect , yeah the Father was greater than him.

Also when on earth Jesus had chosen to take on the limitations of human kind, any miracles we see Jesus doing are the result of prayer and of the baptism in the Holy Spirit given by the Father.

To the ark question,  the clean animals went in 7 by 7,  the unclean animals 2 by 2.

that's only by the western definition of insects though! Remember this was written in Hebrew,  the Hebrew people had a different word and different meaning for that .

They probably didn't split things up into the same categories we have from biology today.

שׁרץ (sherets )for the hebrew people is different to our classification named insects.

Cherry-picking at its finest.

1.  Come on, are you serious?  Jesus was saying that although His will was the same as God's will, and His Spirit was God's Spirit, He was limited by human flesh.  God has no such limitations.

2.  I believe actually that there were seven pairs of clean animals taken, which would explain why all the animals went in two by two.

3.  Leviticus doesn't say that insects have four feet.  It says that they WALK on four feet, and then have two legs above their feet for jumping.  Look at a grasshopper or a locust sometime.  They have six legs, but they only use four for walking.  Bees, mosquitoes and flies would be a great example of Leviticus 11:23.  They have four feet which they use for walking.

Jesus is one with His Father, because they both are God, but as any good son, He put Himself under submission to His Father.

Only two of every kind. Not every single type of dog was brought onto the ark. Only two dogs were brought. That makes the number much much smaller.

The word all was not in the Hebrew that the O.T. was translated from. Insects don't go with eight legs at the same time. They move with four legs down, then four legs up.
