thought about what provokes someone to be mean?

sometimes it is that soul that is so far out of hope, that they are screaming for just one hand to reach down and save them....then when they are greeted with, a harsh tone of " you are headed for h**l" They recoil thier hand content to drown in thier own sorrow and self pity. Because what they are really looking for...is ONE person to show that love that everyone is talking about Jesus having....one sign that there is love for them.......hope!

have you ever thought about...when you are greeted with the loudest most offensive person...its really the most hopeless, suffering heart you may ever come across?

I look at it this way- most of us are somehow, "crippled inside". Yes, I think they will "act tough" as a protection method.

On the other hand,  I think  there are a few people out there who are the personification of mean, however.  They actually ARE cruel and mean.

I think if you get to know the person a bit closer, you will begin to tell the difference.

Mean people who are truly mean- I tend to shun.  Or stand up to.

yes...interesting.....can you give me the exact name of the person who ever said that to you or anyone you know?....or did that happen to a person known by a friend of a friend of a friend?

* the truth doesn't need to be given in a harsh tone..but.....have you ever considered that a person who mentions h**l in a conversation may love you so much that they don't want you to go there?

It takes time to become mean, it has to be fed to grow, take away its food and it will die, and hope returns to the soul.

Yes, I have thought about that a lot.  I'm really sorry if you have ever had an experience like that with a Christian. I promise you, not every Christian is that way.

I really think some people don't.  I wasn't raised in a denomination that  promotes fear or rudeness.  Actually, I was told it wasn't really polite to get in peoples' faces about religion.  I imagine though the people you need to reach with this won't be able to see the point you've made.
