i can't convince you with words . God is a spirit and you must seek him with your heart . the carnel mind can not understand the things of the spirit ... so unless you ask him to open your eyes and heart it may be a hard journey for you.. his holy spirit will draw you to him ..seek him with all your heart and you will find him he says ...so ask him to convince you if dieing on a cross was not enough ..

That's something that can not just be explained. It's like the air. Can you see the air. Is it real? How do you know? You just do. You feel it. You sense it.

You have to ask him for yourself. Information about him is not going to save you. You need him to come into your heart so you can know that you know he is I AM. You don't have to stop all the bad things you do. He'll fix that. He said for you to come to him as you are. do drugs? prostitute? steal? kill? he doesn't care about that. He is God enough to repair, renew, and restore you. Salvation is a gift. You don't have to pay for it with good works before you can be saved it's free.

John 3:17     For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Romans 10:9     That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Religion is based purely on faith. There is not a shred of proof.

It's like telling a little child something, and then telling him 'you have to believe me', and that's it.

world is big system and every system need some one to create and some one to take after.so there must be a god who create this world and that is the only God.another explanation is every effect has a motive eg bark is an effect and dog is it's motive so this world must have a motive who is capable of create and keep that which is again the only God

Well, we can do our best, but it sounds like you need to search a little more before you just decide. People get to God in different ways. Think about the kind of world the Christians want and the way that Christ lived. That would be a good place to start. Any Christian Church will have someone who would be happy to talk with you about this.

  God is the Father of our spirits. We are literally His children, and He loves us. We lived as spirit children of our Father in Heaven before we were born on the earth. We were not, however like our Heavenly Father, nor could we ever become like Hienjoyoy all the blessings that He enjoys without the experience of living immortality with a physical body.

  God's whole purpose- His work and His glory- is to enable each of us to enjoy all His blessings. He has provided a perfect plan to accomplish His purpose. We understand and accepted this plan before we came to earth. In the scriptures God's plan is called a merciful plan, the plan of happiness, the plan oredemptionon and the plan of salvation.

  Jesus Christ is central to God's plan. Through His Atonement, Jesus Christ fulfilled His Father's purpose and made it possible for each of us to enjoy immortality and eternal life.

  We are physicallseparateded from God during life on earth, but He wants every one of His children to find peace in their life and fullness of joy in His presence after this life.

  When we lived with God before we came to earth, we saw Him. He taught us and watched us grow into mature spirits. We are literally His spirit sons and daughters.

  While on Earth, we have to walk by faith, rather then by sight. It is part of the great test of life. He wants us to be obedient to His commandments.

If you want to find out for yourself if God exists, then ask him. Kneel down and offer a sincere prayer. This is the pattern for how you should pray....

1. Address Him... "Heavenly Father"

2. Thank Him... for your family, anything He has given you in life.

3. Ask Him.... ask Him if He is real and is hearing your prayer.

4. Close the prayer in His Son's name... "In the name of Jesus Christ, amen."

You will know. Impressions or thoughts might come to your mind, you might feel a warm burning inside of you- that is the Holy Ghost confirming what you have just asked.

You might not get an answer right away, but it will come.

Some of these answers are pretty convincing. "If you don't believe, you will go to h**l, you evil sinner." Yes, this is a pretty powerful proof, isn't it.

Cool, now its for the Christians ahah. First we can look at the Bible and examine what it claims. There are things that do relate to supernatural things we might not see today as in miracles and such. But what would apply to us is the prophecies. Many things are happening in Israel in the 1900's applying to some passages like Isaiah 41:12-14.

Also, the prophecies that even Jesus said Himself. Hear of wars, and rumors of wars, we see that today. Famines, diseases, earthquakes, yes they're here. Nowadays it is a record of Christians being persecuted which was also stated in the Bible.

So thats one of em. There's also been some evidence of the Ark built by Noah, and chariots when the Red Sea departed. How to actually know God is by faith. Because 2 Corinthians 5:7 We live by faith, not by sight. And of course so many people want evidence, but cannot accept that faith in God is real.

then read the bible you can see that there are many prophecies of it that are happening now such as 1 timothy 3:1-5

No need for views and opinions; only to believe the Bible.

Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and He was raised to life on the third day.  When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, confessing our sins, we are born again; we lose our desire for all sin over time.

We become new creatures in Christ, having surrendered our life to Jesus so that He can make us holy/pure.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life."

Always know that God loves you and it was out of love that God sent Jesus to save us from our sins.  God bless.

That's some niiiiiice blind obedience there goldyy. Must be nice not having to think on your own, eh?

EDIT: Some 2,000 year old desert scribbling saying a god died for me on a cross is NOT proof of God. People need to stop throwing that out there. Do any other atheists feel that Christians are being forced to pay a bill for something they never ordered with this whole Christ dying on the cross for us?

The very laws that we live by and the order of everything around us isn't a random happening. If you throw some rock in the the air a million times it won't pile up to make a car. There is an obvious design in everything we have around us. Even Charles Darwin could not explain the complexity that is the eye. It had to be designed. All of that said you will have to walk away from logic to receive from God. Blessed are those who have believed and not seen. Faith! If God was easily explained He would not be God would he. If faith was easy then it wouldn't be faith. Quit trying to be a christian and get to know God more personally. He wants you to know Him. Not just know about Him

There isn't any proof, that's for sure. The 'proofs' that are offered are based on fuzzy reasoning, as far as I'm concerned. Pretty flowers and snowflakes, waking up in the morning and all the wonders of nature don't prove anything about God like Santo R would suggest, but only our fondness and appreciation for them. I guess I should have answered your oppsite question addressed to atheists instead.

You're not going to get any convincing answers unless your reasoning is fuzzy and you seriously WANT to believe. That's just the way it works.

I can tell you so many things to try and prove my God exists. But the convincing starts with you wanting to at least try and believe. I could give my life as an example for how God exists. The first thing I would usually ask people is that if He doesn't, then how are you here? People are quick to that say evolution is the answer. But the truth is that there is no proof for evolution. There are theories. The Bible has never been prooven wrong. You have to accept what God is trying to do in your life. I have found so much joy through Him. I have gone through so much in my short life. I have had my share of doubts (way to many for me). But every time, I just turn to God and have faith He is the answer. And you know, everything turns out okay. I don't feel pressured to love Him. I want to love Him. His love is so special. To love everyone no matter there age, race, s*x. No matter what they have done or what they will do. From murderers, to molestors, to prostitutes God loves them all equally. He loves you when you try hard and fail. He loves you when you think horrible thoughts. He loves you when you don't even believe in Him. He created you. He knew you before you were even born (and even befor you were concieved). He loves the parentless and the friendless. And He also loves those that have so much.

I pray that He fills that place in your heart that only He can fill. People try and fill it with so many other things. They get their religion but they don't get a relationship. They don't get that friendship. Anyone can go to church, read their Bible, do good deeds, and even pray everyday and still not really know God. Even the demons in h**l can recite every verse of the Bible. That's why it is important to meditate on it day and night. God wants to spend time with you. Set aside time for Him. Even if it's just half an hour, get alone with Him and just talk with Him like a friend. Tell Him about your day and what bothers you and what excites you. Meet people that are strong in their walk with God that can be mentors to you. I will be praying for you that you get to know God for real like I do. He loves you so much!

I could tell you that blessed are those that believe and yet have not seen. Basically, you become a Christian solely based on faith and judgment, . Sometimes it works. Sometimes not.

For background, basically God created 2 beings, Adam and Eve, who fell to temptation to sin and severely damaged their relationship with God. However, as God is a merciful and loving God, He of course wanted to reconcile our relationship so that we may still be called children of God.

Fast forward some amount of time to Jesus. Note that during those times, animals were sacrificed for atonement of sins. The more precious the animal, the more favored you are in the sight of God. Then go forward to the birth of Christ, who was to be the sacrificial lamb for ALL of humanity since He was perfect in God's eyes (and that's a pretty high standard). Through His sacrifice, we can still be called children of God and go with Him for eternity. This is what it means to be saved. Otherwise we go to h**l.

You're not perfect. Haha I'm not either. This is why we neeeed Jesus. Because although we may think we are good, compared to God we are like dirty rags. You can either say meh, so what, turn away, and reject this idea like most atheists out there, or you can consider what this truly means, how low you've become, and how high you can eventually go. I leave that to you. =]

Scientifically there is evidence for God too. If you want more info then you can just pm me. I'll tell you what i think about the relationship between science and God.

but if if its to confusing and if you thing this is biased do this.

Assume you dont know about any religion.Then simply

pray Dear God who ever you are to reveal yourself

to me because I am searching for you. ( Be honest)

Then the God who is alive will answer then you will be sure

because information does not substitute for an actual

experience. Then you will really see the truth.
