1. Do unto others, then split.

  2. Not your usual list, this one is the 10 commandments as in the NEW TESTAMENT

God's law is for every member of mankind, not just the Hebrews/Jews.

1] Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Matthew 4:10

[2] Little children, keep yourselves from idols. 1 John 5:21 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. Acts 17:29

[3] That the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed. 1 Timothy 6:1

[4] But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day: Matthew 24:20

And he said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not

man for the Sabbath: Mark 2:27

For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. Hebrews 4:4

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Hebrews 4:9-10

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and

that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: Colossians 1:16

[5] Honour thy father and thy mother: Matthew 19:19

[6] Thou shalt not kill, Romans 13:9

[7] Thou shalt not commit adultery, Matthew 19:18

[8] Thou shalt not steal, Romans 13:9

[9] Thou shalt not bear false witness, Matthew 19:18

[10] Thou shalt not covet, Romans 7:7

[After Jesus death we have these also recorded]

Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Luke 23:56 and rested the Sabbath day according to the commandment.

  3. Read exodus chapter 20

The sabbath was for the jews to keep not the gentiles

Christians keep one to remember God on Sunday the day Jesus rose from the grave.

  4. Exodus 20.1-17. "Then God spoke all these words, saying, “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. “You shall have no other gods before Me. “You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. “You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain. “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. “Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath of the Lord your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you. “For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and made it holy. “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which the Lord your God gives you. “You shall not murder. “You shall not commit adultery. “You shall not steal. “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife or his male servant or his female servant or his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

That is them. All the commandments have eternal implications. All of the commandments are reinterpreted to have a deeper meaning and actually a more difficult level of obedience (Jesus said to look at a woman to lust after her was committing adultery). Remember the Sabbath remains in the sense that we as humans still should set aside one day in 7 to rest, but as far as worship we can esteem one day above another or all days alike. The original Sabbath was commanded to celebrate God's creation. The remembrance after Christ of the one day in 7 is to celebrate Christ's resurrection and the guarantee that in spite of the Fall of man in Creation there is redemption in Jesus.

    5. Thou shall respect the human body and not be ashamed of nudity.

  6. I suggest you look them up, and yes the Sabbath day is a command to the Jews. I'm not a Jew, I am a Christian. Christ resurrected on a Sunday, so therefore this is the appointed day for worship for Christians. Although every day should merit thanks and worship for our Savior.

  7. The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:2-17 NKJV)

1 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.

2 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My Commandments.

3 “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

4 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

5 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

    6 “You shall not murder.

7 “You shall not commit adultery.

    8 “You shall not steal.

9 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

10 “You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.”

***and yes, the Sabbath day is a commandment. see comandment #4

  8. They are in Exodus 20, here they are summarized

    1. No other gods before God.

    2. Not graven image, Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them

    3. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain

    4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

That is on the seventh day not the first look in the Bible for the truth. God does not change.

    5. Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

    6. Thou shalt not murder.

    7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.

    8. Thou shalt not steal.

    9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

    10. Thou shalt not covet Anything that is your neighbor's.

    Ex 20:5 ....for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Ex 20:6 And shewing MERCY unto thousands of them that LOVE me, and KEEP my commandments.

Keep them all. God gave them to everyone to follow do them and you will be blessed and your love and knowledge of God will be great. Hoped this helped.

  9. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, and strength. And love your neighbor as yourself.

Keep those and all the rest will be kept also.

    <(((><

Yes, "Remember" the sabbath is one of the ten.

  12. 1. Don't kill (unless your president says that it's 'Ok'. Oh, and if the guy is raping your wife, it's all good, too!)

    2. Don't steal. (unless you legalize it and call it a 'tax incentive' for the wealthy and a 'tax increase' for the poor and middle class. It's fine if you do it that way. Other loopholes are also available.)

    3. Don't sleep with your friend's wife. (unless everyone gets a divorce first.)

    4. Don't work on Sunday. (unless you are scheduled.)

    5. Don't lie about your neighbor. (tell any other kind of lie that you want to, but don't lie about your neighbor.)

    6. Don't worship false gods or icons. (of course, man hasn't seen God in thousands of years, so we don't know who he is or what he looks like. )

    7. There are four other commandments. I can't remember what they are, but if I break them, I'll go to h**l. (Scary, huh?)

  13. Here is the Exodus 34 version that are actually called the ten commandments, unlike the Exodus 20 version:

    Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and [one] call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;

And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.

Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.

The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.

All that openeth the matrix [is] mine; and every firstling among thy cattle, [whether] ox or sheep, [that is male].

But the firstling of an *** thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem [him] not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.

Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.

And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.

Thrice in the year shall all your men children appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel.

For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the LORD thy God thrice in the year.

Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.

The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.

And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
