  1. Unworthy hands? What are you talking about? Anyone can read the Bible, anyone can read books. The unworthy need them more than anyone. I hate desecration of books though.

    LuthienT

  2. Anything by CS Lewis!!!

Definitely the Chronicles of Narnia are fantastic bits of allegory, and the Screwtape Letters is FANTASTIC.  The Screwtape Letters is a compilation of letters written by a senior demon to a junior demon giving him directions on how to tempt people and gain their souls.  It's SO good.

  3. Quo Vadis? by Siekiewizc. Haven't read anything that could surpass this nice and beautiful feeling that the book gives. Amazing piece of writing.

  4. C.S. Lewis books are great

    Screwtape Letters

    The Great Divorce

    Mere Christianity

  5. I don't think I understand the question. I'm not Christian, but books are just books. There are lots of copies of books in print. I obviously don't enjoy books being destroyed, but there are lots of the books in print...

  6. Pilgrim's Progress. It's my favorite book, it's a 17th century Christian allegory by John Bunyan. I think you might find it helpful.

  7. If you're going to give some ridiculous special category for the Bible than it would be illogical not to include the Septuagint and Talmud since they are the origin of the Old Testament.

And since one religion should be considered as good as another it would behoove you to include other religious texts as well, such as the Quran, the Bhagavad Gita, the Vedas, the Satanic Bible, the Avesta, the Mahayana Sutras, as well as others.

  8. I'm not sure I understand the question.  I mean, even the bible I would want anyone to read so they could benefit from it.  I guess the one thing I wouldn't want unworthy people to read is my journal.  I wouldn't want others to make fun of or criticize how I have lived.
