  1. if they were jewish they were saved

  2. You should read the bible please

Of course God will not judge them by Jesus christ.

All after Jesus will be judged according to the gospel.

God will judge those before Jesus by their heart and intent and the deeds they did.

  3. Nice one!  Star for you bro.

  4. God established ongoing animal sacrifice as an atonement for sin before Jesus became the perfect atonement.

  5. One of the most marvelous teachings of Christianity is that the first thing Jesus did after being crucified is that he "Descended into h**l" to preach to those souls who died before the resurrection.(1 Peter 3:18-20).  Among the things taught by this is that in the midst of all of his suffering Jesus's first thought was of those unsaved souls. This is an attribute of the true God.

  6. Hello,

No, people living before Christ will be judged by the standards of the Old Testament, laws of Moses etc. according to theologians.

Remember when Christ said that Sodom and Gomorrah will fare better on judgement than those towns who now reject his word.

    Cheers,

  7. No. God judges a man's heart. Also He is merciful and true. I don't really know what His plan is/was for those people or for the people who've never really heard of Jesus, but He has one.

  8. The Buddha came before Christ, I accept both of their gifts to humanity.

  9. No , Jesus was preached in the old testament also. They had the faith that Jesus was the Messiah to come. We now have the faith that Jesus is the Messiah that has come and will return.

Genesis 1:26  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

The "us" and "our" that it speaks of here is the Trinity, the Father , the Son  and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is referred to in many books in the old testament.

The Christians of that day had to go to a priest with a sacrifice for their sins the the priest had to  pray for them and they could only do this at a certain time of year. When Christ came the curtain was rent into and gave us the privilege to communicate directly with God.Mark15:38.  And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.

There were many followers of God and Jesus back then too.

  10. There was  sacrifices for your sins at the time. And, not everyone went to h**l. Some of the prophets were taken into heaven (like Elijah).  Isaiah proclaimed the coming of the messiah. Jesus ministered to them in h**l after he died, (before He came back to walk the earth). .

  11. From the very beginning, anyone who called upon the name of "The Lord", the one God- was saved by faith.

Before Christ- it was faith in the promise- now, we have the promise fulfilled.

But it is always someone's faith in God which saves them.  God looks at our "hearts"... Only God can judge.

  12. The Bible says that those before Jesus, looked ahead in faith to the promise of the coming of the Messiah (the Messiah is Jesus).  They believed the promise of the coming of Messiah for sins, and were saved.

Those that didn't believe, and died in unbelief, were sent to eternal h**l.
