  1. I don't think its a sin. Simply because it can be very practical for a married couple to wait to have a child for various reasons. Like for instance, maybe they are newlyweds and aren't ready, not stable financially yet, or any number of other reasons. But as with all things this should be considered seriously before making the choice. Having a child is a personal choice and the right time to do it is key for a healthy marriage.

  2. I don't believe it is.  But if someone feels it is wrong for them personally, then they shouldn't take them.

  3. I think that the risk to the woman's health makes it wrong.

  4. no.

  5. Only if you are male.

  6. In Roman Catholic theology, taking birth control pills is a sin because s*x, within marriage, is intended for procreation. Birth control pills promote recreational s*x in and outside of marriage.

  7. yes because s*x outside of marriage is sin. Therefore if a person was following the directions from the Bible there would be no need for them.

  8. For Catholics it must be, it has to be, their gospels tell them not to obstruct the natural order of procreation. Of course I know so many Catholics who have and do take all manner of precautions, before, during and after. The Pope would be sooooo annoyed with them!

  9. Personally I do not think so, but I realize that I could be wrong about this.

Also, another poster is right. Anything that is not of faith is a sin, according to Romans. So if your conscience bugs you about it and you are not convinced in your own mind that it is okay, then don't do it.

Romans 14: 23 But whoever has doubts is condemned if he eats, because the eating is not from faith. For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.

  10. will to me i have never read in the bible that birth control its a sin, what is a sin is you having s*x before marriage,or you being married and you cheat. people that are not married will not have to take birth control if they will listen to the word of God b/c as you know burning with lust is already adultry in God's eye. so if you will stay abstinece than thier will be no use of birth control!

Run from anything that stimulates youtful lust. Follow anything that makes you want to do right. Pursue faith and love and peace, and enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts. 2 Timothy 2:22

  11. I don't think it is.
