Christians what does God really C in us?And what about our loved 1s who were not good enough 2 B saved?(long)?

So here is what I am getting at.

What about loved ones who cant get on the lifeboat?

I cant understand how people can go to heaven, and be in eternal happiness if they are still out there.

I believe in God, but it's hard to believe in the way you do.

I cant see God letting good people go to h**l. Just cuz they did not believe or did not know of him, and were probably of a different religion.

Think about it, some people cant see what the reason is to believe cuz they cant see what u see, and feel what u feel. If you feel loved, more power to you.

But see, there is so much suffering, so much darkness in this world. It's hard to believe in God.

So I feel that God could see this. Atheists may not believe in God, but they can still be good caring people. I feel that God looks more deeply into their soul than someone who claims they are christian.

An atheist dies, meets God. God doesn't throw him out. But a God that loves us all. How could he do that? By then, the Atheist will see the truth. Then God turns to a man who was a christian. He believed in God, read the bible, maybe he was a preacher. But then this man cheated on his wife, he also beat his wife. He passed by a homeless person in the street. As a matter of fact, him and the atheist crossed paths in the same street as the homeless man. The homeless man approached the christian, but the christian either made an excuse, or shunned him. The homeless guy then sees the atheist. The atheist gives him some money, or goes to buy him a meal.

Both the atheist and christian get on the same bus that crashes and falls off an overpass.

Which takes us back to both of them meeting God.

Who do you think deserves heaven more? Someone who was good but could not see, or someone who could see, but was selfish and uncaring?

And no one is perfect. Not all people are good, not all people are bad. No matter what religion you belong to. No one is perfect. We are only human.

If God only favored people for just being christian, then I cant see that's an all loving God.

If God favored only good Christians, and only Christians, then I think the line to heaven will be dissapointingly short. Cuz you can say your christian, you can recite every verse in the bible. But what kind of person are you behind that book?

I think God looks deeper into our hearts.

Now, another thing that bothers me.

Christians, earth is titanic, our savior is a lifeboat, h**l is the cold water, heaven is an island..

From what I see from what many Christians display.

All this is an "everyman for himself" attitude.

Because the thought of someone being in heaven while their loved one is in h**l, yet still being happy. It seems cold doesn't it?

If someone offered you a drug that would make you happy and get rid of stress depression, and basically make you care less for others, but that the same time, someone you loved denied the drug. So they decided you burn them alive. Would you still take the drug knowing that would happen?

And one thing about the titanic, why I compared earth to it. In titanic, the rich went on first while the lower class could only hope they had a chance.

So now Christians are an exclusive club. While non Christians will be destined to sink.

You tell me that we'll have God's love, and there will be no pain, no sorrow. But how can that be love? Everytime I think of that. I feel like an ant.

Would you jump in the water for your wife, mother, son daughter husband, etc? Knowing that the boats would just leave without you aswell?

If God saw you do that, would that give him a picture of your true heart? If you jumped in to rescue them or suffer with them, would he see that and realize the courage and selflessness that was shown there?

To me, that is love. Not abandonment.

Are there any Christians who are bothered by this thought?

Sry for the long read. But there. I got that out of my system.

    Pheeuuuuuuww! You sure got a lot pinned up, don't you. I understand your questioning and that is ok. More knowledge will help you to understand God. Here is how I understand it in my little puzzel.

    God is an all Loving Father who will not abandon you. He does not cast you into h**l. He will forgive you for anything. The deal is, he does not have to send you into a place of h**l fire or darkness, because you get there on your own. It is like the Laws of the town. There are these Laws of the universe. Jesus said it, you reap what you sow. God is no respector of persons. This means he loves all his children. Some choose to listen to the temptation of darkness, even though, they know they will got to jail, they go out and drink and speed and get arested by this nice policeman who has ajob to throw your ragedy hiney in the pokey because you violated thye LAW. Now who are you going to blame, GOD? There are many mansions in the house of God.

    It does not say they are all good and wonderful. Some are not where you want to put yourself. He has made a way for you to stay out of them. Master yourself and obey the Laws and you won't go to jail. Read the bible because that tells you a lot how to stay out of trouble and teaches about who god really is. Read the parable of the prodigal son. Then read John 3:16.

    Remember these words, Those who seek, will find. those who don't won't and you will have no part of the kingdom as you wish it to be.

    You will judge yourself and God won't have to.

    Remember this, it is very possible we live other life times and come back to correct our misdeeds. I think everyone has known of God, especially now with all the media coverage. People choose not to know God. An child who dies still knows of God!

  3. The Spirit World - aka where we go when we die

    Even though Christ conquered physical death, all people must die, for death is part of the process by which we are transformed from mortality to immortality. At death our spirits go to the spirit world. Death does not change our personality or our desires for good or evil. Those who choose to obey God in this life live in a state of happiness, pecae, and rest from troubles and care. Those who chose not to obey in this life and did not repent live in a state of unhappiness. In the spirit world the gospel is preached to those who did not obey the gospel or have the opportunity to hear it while on earth. We remain in the spirit world until we are resurrected.

    The Resurrection, Judgement, and Immortaility

    When our bodies and spirits are reunited through the resurrection, we will be brought into God's presence to be judged. We will remember perfectly our righteousness and our guilt. If we have repented, we will receive mercy. We will be rewarded according to our works and out desires.

    Through the resurrection all people will become immortal- they will live forever. Immortality is a free gift to all people, whether they are righteous or wicked. Eternal life is not, however, the same as immortality. Eternal life is a gift of God given only to those who obey His gospel. It is the highest state that we can achieve. It comes to those who are freed from sin and suffering through the Atonement of Christ. It is exaltaion, which means living with God forever in eternal families. It is to know God and Jesus Christ and to experience the life they enjoy.

    [Some people confuse the doctrine of resurrection with the concerpt of reincarnation. They are two different things. The doctrine of resurrection involves receiving an eternal reward of an immortal body of flesh and bone.]

    Kingdoms of Glory- aka Heaven

    During our mortal lives we make choices regarding good and evil. God rewards us according to our works and desires. Because God rewards everyone according to deeds done in the body, there are different kingdoms of glory to which we may be assigned after the Judgement. Those who have repented of their sins and ceceived the ordinances of the gospel and kept the associated covenants will be cleansed by the Atonement of Christ. They will receive exaltation in the highest kingdom, also known as the celestial kingdom. They will live in God's presence, become like Him, and receive a fulness of joy. They will live together for eternity with those of their family who qualify. In the scriptures this kingdom is compared to the glory or brightness of the sun.

    People who do not accept the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ but live honorable lives will receive a place in the terrestrial kingdom. This kingdom is compared to the glory of the moon.

    Those who continued in their sins and did not repent in this life will receive their reward in the lowest kingdom, which is called the telestial kingdom. This kingdom is compared to the glory of the stars.

  4. Bottom line is NONE of us are "good enough" to deserve Gods forgiveness.

    Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

    Ephesians 2:8-9

    8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

    9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

    To become a disciple of Christ or "Christian" you must believe and confess (tell others).

    You cant keep it a secret.

    You cant be ashamed of Christ and be saved.

    Romans 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

    When Christ draws you or asks you to come to Him, you have a decision to make.

    John 6:44 KJV No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

    Jesus Christ is the only way to bridge the gap between us and God. Jesus died as payment for our sins. The sins in us had to be accounted for and a penalty paid to God just like when you break the law here on Earth a penalty must be paid.

    God knew we could never be with Him  because the only way for us to pay for our sins was to be cast into the lake of fire forever. Thats why He sent His only Son whom He loves very much as a sacrifice. Imagine that. He gave His only Son Jesus to pay for our sins!! When people refuse Jesus we send ourselves to h**l. There are many good upstanding people that die and go to h**l only because they didnt accept Jesus and those sins still had to be paid for. So if Jesus is calling you, say yes and do as Romans 10:9 says, then your name will be recorded in the Book of Life.

    Revelation 20:15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

    God doesnt want us to go to h**l, it wasnt even created for us. It was created for Satan and his fallen angels.

    Matthew 18:14

    Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.


  5. i also have a lot of questions about "god". i do believe in a creator it is easier to call it god because everyone knows what you mean, i have tried to study many religions to try to find where my beliefs fell in. all so far have just led to more questions i do not think anyone on earth knows the "real" story. but i think while we are here god would want us to be good to each other and if thats   not what he wanted then what have you wasted being a good person?, but if the bible is true i do not think he would be that upset if we didnt believe in any book as long as we believed in him. but all those religious questions will drive you crazy just talk to him as you feel and it will be fine why would he give us this life just to spend it on worrying what happens when its over. just keep an open mind.
