So here is what I am getting at.
What about loved ones who cant get on the lifeboat?
I cant understand how people can go to heaven, and be in eternal happiness if they are still out there.
I believe in God, but it's hard to believe in the way you do.
I cant see God letting good people go to h**l. Just cuz they did not believe or did not know of him, and were probably of a different religion.
Think about it, some people cant see what the reason is to believe cuz they cant see what u see, and feel what u feel. If you feel loved, more power to you.
But see, there is so much suffering, so much darkness in this world. It's hard to believe in God.
So I feel that God could see this. Atheists may not believe in God, but they can still be good caring people. I feel that God looks more deeply into their soul than someone who claims they are christian.
An atheist dies, meets God. God doesn't throw him out. But a God that loves us all. How could he do that? By then, the Atheist will see the truth. Then God turns to a man who was a christian. He believed in God, read the bible, maybe he was a preacher. But then this man cheated on his wife, he also beat his wife. He passed by a homeless person in the street. As a matter of fact, him and the atheist crossed paths in the same street as the homeless man. The homeless man approached the christian, but the christian either made an excuse, or shunned him. The homeless guy then sees the atheist. The atheist gives him some money, or goes to buy him a meal.
Both the atheist and christian get on the same bus that crashes and falls off an overpass.
Which takes us back to both of them meeting God.
Who do you think deserves heaven more? Someone who was good but could not see, or someone who could see, but was selfish and uncaring?
And no one is perfect. Not all people are good, not all people are bad. No matter what religion you belong to. No one is perfect. We are only human.
If God only favored people for just being christian, then I cant see that's an all loving God.
If God favored only good Christians, and only Christians, then I think the line to heaven will be dissapointingly short. Cuz you can say your christian, you can recite every verse in the bible. But what kind of person are you behind that book?
I think God looks deeper into our hearts.
Now, another thing that bothers me.
Christians, earth is titanic, our savior is a lifeboat, h**l is the cold water, heaven is an island..
From what I see from what many Christians display.
All this is an "everyman for himself" attitude.
Because the thought of someone being in heaven while their loved one is in h**l, yet still being happy. It seems cold doesn't it?
If someone offered you a drug that would make you happy and get rid of stress depression, and basically make you care less for others, but that the same time, someone you loved denied the drug. So they decided you burn them alive. Would you still take the drug knowing that would happen?
And one thing about the titanic, why I compared earth to it. In titanic, the rich went on first while the lower class could only hope they had a chance.
So now Christians are an exclusive club. While non Christians will be destined to sink.
You tell me that we'll have God's love, and there will be no pain, no sorrow. But how can that be love? Everytime I think of that. I feel like an ant.
Would you jump in the water for your wife, mother, son daughter husband, etc? Knowing that the boats would just leave without you aswell?
If God saw you do that, would that give him a picture of your true heart? If you jumped in to rescue them or suffer with them, would he see that and realize the courage and selflessness that was shown there?
To me, that is love. Not abandonment.
Are there any Christians who are bothered by this thought?
Sry for the long read. But there. I got that out of my system.
