what im trying to say is.. what if you told someone about

the "signs" pointing to the end of times and yet they never believed you.

but then when the rapture happens or "the vanishing of millions" they'll realize what you said was right.

where will they go ? can they trust anyone ?

i've heard of concentration-like camps for the christians who are left behind.

no rude answers, this is a serious question.

god bless.

  1. Sorry PawPrintz, that is not good doctrine. Try reconciling this idea with Revelation 6:9-10 and Revelation 7:9-14

There will be 144,000 Messianic Jews come on the scene to preach the gospel. There will be a great revival, but yes, they will die for their new found faith because of the new world religion demanding you worship their false god or lose your head.

OK, for those who say the word "rapture" does not appear in the Bible. OK, let's call it the "harpatzo". Oh, that word does not appear in the Bible either. Only in the original language.

  2. I'm really appalled at the idea of people suffering because they don't believe in Jesus. The denominations around here don't teach that sort of thing. Sorry to hear of that belief in causing harm to people that don't have similar beliefs. Truly sad.

  3. They'll still go to heaven.

I think they will suffer extreme persecution though, such as worse than has ever been on this earth before...

But they'll still go to heaven.

  4. Just so you know, the "rapture" is a weird concept that only American Christians believe in(not sure about Canadians), but where I live no one has ever heard of such absurdity.

Why do you have so many religious wackos there?

edit: I found out about "rapture" from this forum.

  5. Well it depends on if you believe that the Christians will be raptured before, rather then during or after the tribulation. It would be the same as the fate of Christians if the rapture does not occur until after the tribulation begins. You will be persecuted, and virtually every Christian- or anyone of any belief that they hold on to- will be eventually executed for their faith- for not worshipping the antichrist. It will be the worst tribulation in human history, worse than any war, or the holocaust or any act of genocide to date.

  6. Please remember only fundamentalist and evangelical Christians believe there will be a rapture.  Mainline denominations do not interpret the relevant scripture in the same way.

Edit:  Christo, I believe you're mistaken.  The Catholic Church does not believe in the rapture.

  7. Hello,

It may well not happen. This idea, also called Darbyism came about from an English minister in the early 19th century. It is not accepted by many Christian denominations. Check this out:

That said, if you get a heart attack, terminal cancer, a head on collision or shot by some lunatic in a mall it is the end of the world for you anyway. Last time I checked, 280,000 people die every day in the world and will never realize this situation. Death itself without Anti - Christs, raptures and tribulations comes like a thief in the night for all of us so I see no need to worry or be obsessed with the scenario you describe.

    Cheers,

    Michael Kelly

  8. I'm not sure.  I believe there will be people who will "find God" in the tribulation period.  But I've heard it won't be pleasant for Christians during that time.

  9. That's the thing, you must accept Jesus, repent, get Baptized, and be obedient. You can't wait til the last second and then decide once you see that it's true to accept Jesus. It's too late then. There are no after believers who get a second chance to believe once it's been revealed to them. What point would there be to having Faith in the word if you waited til it was proven to you?

    Game over..

  10. that can NOT be a serious question, tell me, does the word rapture exist ANYWHERE in the bible? No! Why, since it is a doctrine dreament up by the catholics to deceive the main stream protestants...

...don't believe me, look it up, do some research, better yet, read the bible, and truly see if there is any indication of a "rapture"....

  11. When the Lord removes His church it will be complete, at that time. No new believers will be left behind. Revelation indicates that Jesus will then raise up 144,000 Jews from every tribe. These will be newly saved, if you want to refer to them as such, and they will then carry forth the gospel message of salvation to a very godless world. Life on the earth at that time will be unbearable and the sufferings for those turning to Christ will be worse than anything imaginable. The Lord will continue to call out a people unto Himself throughout the tribulation period, but many if not most will be massacred for their faith in the Son of God.

  12. You are correct: there is no rapture in the Scriptures -

When you read that Christ will come like a thief in the night - it means "when you least expect it".  When is the time when you would absolutely, without any doubt, never ever expect that Jesus would arrive?  The answer:

WHEN YOU THINK HE IS ALREADY HERE.

So what does that mean?  It means that there are two "jesus" coming.  According to the Bible, the FIRST one who comes is the fake - that's antichrist, which means

"instead of Christ".  He will look and act like the loving jesus and he will play that jesus role to the very hilt.  The majority will be deceived and believe it is really jesus.  Those who have bought into the rapture scam, will be the first ones deceived, because they think that the first "jesus" who comes on the scene is the true Christ, come to rapture them outta here to safety.  They'll be raptured allright - raptured right smack into the arms of Antichrist in deception.  They are already set up and don't even know it.

When the true Christ comes, he finds the majority of his

people worshipping the wrong jesus.  This is why he says

"get away from me, I never knew you";   because if they had a relationship with the true Christ, they would know that the Scriptures are clear that the fake Christ comes first, and if they even bothered to read Mark 13 they would have seen the chronological list of events given by Christ himself, and know that there is no indication of any portion of our population being raptured, missing, vanished, etc...  And, they would know that Ezekiel 13:18 states clearly that God is against those who teach his people to fly to save their souls.  Nobody is going anywhere.  This is why we are given power over spiritual entities and why we are given the gospel armour to wear in battle - we are given those things because we are gonna need them.  If we were going to fly up in the clouds somewhere, what would be the need of the protections that God has left for his foot soldiers?

The true Christ will come when most people think he is already here, and they will be worshipping Antichrist because they didn't care quite enough to read the letter God sent to us, with understanding.  Instead, they listened to some yahoo and never checked him out to see if thats what God said.  People take up pew space every week and love to play church, but they are so Biblically illiterate that its amazing.   Lack of Knowledge will be the destruction of man.  Knowledge of these end times is in Gods Word.  If you don't bother understanding the sequence of events, then you will be deceived and be one of those who Christ finds  in bed with the wrong

    husband  (spiritually speaking, of course).

  13. you have answered your own question   you heard!

where did you hear about this secret rapture ? its nowhere in the bible

but the bible does tell of the coming of christ did you hear

about him too our did you read about the real one that's in the bible
