  1. Wisdom tells me to keep one eye on the future and one eye on the present.

  2. I am prepared for death today,

and I am prepared for life today,

because I live in a real and continuous relationship with my God, through faith in Jesus Christ His Son, who loved me and washed me from my sins in his own blood.

O look forward to the day to see what good thing God will do through me to bless someone else.

  3. nope, not at all... you've missed the point entirely.

  4. 'Cuz that's where the REAL LIFE is!

Life withour GOD is No life...

  5. we disagree on what death means

  6. No that's your gig , I'm getting ready for eternal life!

    Join me!

  7. I'm preparing for life not death "You got it backwards" jesus is life.. this world is dead just look around you.

    God loves you...God bless

  8. Death is the next great adventure!  Death is the great equalizer of all mankind.  Death is common to all.  We are going to die, why not be prepared and then live as if today is the last day of my life, knowing if it is -- great!  If not --even better!

Phil 1:21 -- For me to live is Christ, to die is gain!

  9. I don't, I do the best that I can and to be the best that I can be. I help others alone the way and live like I could die tomorrow, ya never know.

When I die, I die, nothing I can do about it

  10. Yes, it is.  THe Bible says you should hate this world in comparison to Jesus and His kingdom.  That's easy to do.  All I have to do is look at all the sin in the world and in my life and realize this world is ruined by sin.

I admit I am scared of death.  I am scared of pain and the unknown, but I know that Jesus is there waiting for me.

  11. I don't spend life thinking about dying. How depressing. I live it rather than contemplate the end of it.

  12. Nope, there is no need for a Christian to prepare for death other than the basic funeral arrangements that the rest of us have to make as well.

  13. I spend my entire life trying to improve who I am and become closer to God to avoid a spiritual death.  I am preparing for the rest of my earthly life so as to be with God in the after life.

  14. This is directed towards Christians....why?

Isn't that what everyone on earth is doing?

  15. Yes, you could do an inverted pascals wager there, what if there is no god and you waist your life as a nun for example? Its very sad.

  16. We don't spend our life preparing for death, we spend it preparing for what's after...

The first death is of no consequence. It's the second we wish to avoid.

  17. I'm not. I'm not going to spiritually die. i will have eternal life. by living for God is not preparing for death. it's preparing for life.

  18. Everyone dies a little more each day; a fact.  We Christians are encouraged to seize the moment and make each minute count, by word and deed.  We are not hastening nor encouraging early Death, but embracing life and our Lord.

  19. No...you got it wrong....once we became christians, we entered into eternal life.

  20. It's called faith. We understand that we're a long time dead. We have faith that the life after this one exists and can be worth living, if we follow the Lord. If we're wrong, so what? We're worm food and there won't be a "us" to bemoan the loss. If we're right, then we win, JACKPOT!

  21. we spend our entire life preparing for life...

  22. You are wrong. Christianss is spending their entire life preparing for enternal life after death. So not preparing for death, but preparing something eternal beyond that point.
