  1. It's difficult to imagine that ever occurring. Group Think is too strong.

  2. You pose a very interesting question!! Knowing everything that I know about the world and having had all the experiencies I have in my life, there is no doubt in my mind that I would still believe in GOD 100%, without even having to stop to consider it; I have just had too many prayers answered, too many miracles come true right before my eyes, seen too many people saved that have told me they knew they had no chance of ever being redemed; seen too many random acts of kindness, that I knew had to be the work of Gods hands, (I could go on & on,), but yes, I know, I would STILL believe in GOD, even if it was only ME left standing there!! I love Him that much, AND I KNOW HE DIED FOR ME AND ALL OF THE WORLD!!!

  3. Very good question...

If I felt that I had good reason to, I probably would. Whether that good reason being a feeling inside of me or logic and reasoning supporting my belief, I would still believe.

However, if my faith was that of blind faith, I would not.

  4. Yes. Face death. Experience limbo [in which you are not alone] and make it back.

  5. Yes ... if I was the only person reminds me of

"from 'Tales of the Dervishes' by Idries Shah

    When the Waters Were Changed.

Once upon a time Khidr, the teacher of Moses, called upon mankind with a warning. At a certain date, he said, all the water in the world which had not been specially hoarded, would disappear. It would then be renewed, with different water, which would drive men mad.

Only one man listened to the meaning of this advice. He collected water and went to a secure place where he stored it, and waited for the water to change its character.

On the appointed date the streams stopped running, the wells went dry, and the man who had listened, seeing this happening, went to his retreat and drank his preserved water.

When he saw, from his security, the waterfalls again beginning to flow, this man descended among the other sons of men. He found that they were thinking and talking in an entirely different way from before; yet they had no memory of what had happened, nor of having been warned. When he tried to talk to them, he realized that they thought that he was mad, and they showed hostility or compassion, not understanding.

At first, he drank none of the new water, but went back to his concealment, to draw on his supplies, every day. Finally, however, he took the decision to drink the new water because he could not bear the loneliness of living, behaving and thinking in a different way from everyone else. He drank the new water, and became like the rest. Then he forgot all about his own store of special water, and his fellows began to look upon him as a madman who had miraculously been restored to sanity."

  6. Yes.  My faith is determined by the evidence I see and experience.  I used to be an atheist when I was 10 yrs old.  At that time, I thought I was the practically the only one who didn't believe in God, but that didn't stop me from disbelieving.  Your faith or lack of faith should be something that you determine for yourself, not based on others' beliefs.

  7. Absolutely......as is...my "belief & faith" has come from personal experience....which in Heine sight is my own. Thank You very much. It had and has  nothing to do with following a herd dear...

  8. I would still be an atheist as the bible makes me sick .

  9. Yes I still would believe in God and Jesus. Even to the end, if you stand up for God, He will remember you and stand up for you.

And I have my belief, be it on God, politics, or how to make the propper pizza. No matter what, I am not jumping off my own bandwagon to get on anyone else's.

  10. In a logical view of the universe, as a structured and ordered environment governed by laws, there must be a creator; or else the universe would not be predictable, stable, or have any logical structure at all.  Without any creator, there would be no reason to believe that any of my perceptions of reality were accurate or believable, because without any design, structure or purpose in creation of the universe, there could not possibly be any design, structure or purpose to my own thoughts.

This would leave me with one of two possible conclusions:  either there is a God somewhere that created me, or I am god.  In testing my own godhood, I would soon discover that I fell miserably short of the qualifications, as I could not control or even communicate with nature, nor could I control other beings, or know anything at all about them without being directly told.

Ruling out my own godhood would leave me with the conclusion that there was a God.  And as others in the bible who had no bible, I would come to some sort of faith in Him and find a way to communicate with Him to my satisfaction.

So, yes, I would still believe in God.

  11. I have A REVELATION of THE REALITY of Jesus Christ by the light and truth of THE HOLY SPIRIT.

If you don't: GOD has a definite reason for leaving you in the dark about it.

  12. Well faith is faith. But good thing I am not the only one. I wish you were the only atheist cause then God could move more easily into your life.

  13. People believe in there religion or G-d because of a leap of faith !   They are not going to change there mind for any reason. Examples Jews who continued to swear there faith to G_d as they were burned alive in n**i concentration camps. Even better example as they saw there infant child smashed to death against a wall. The mother survived an interview years later still believed.  Christens who  forgive the murderer of there family. And on and on.   It is but a leap of faith and once you take it you believe  regardlesss

  14. Live and let live as I always say. So much energy can be used to understand one another, rather than to try to convert or prove something.

  15. Truthfully I pray that I stand fast to God in spite of being the only follower. But I am a shy person who is always asking other people's opinion on things.

  16. Yes I would.....and Jesus would have still died on the cross and resurrected if you were the only person to accept that truth.

  17. Dear Mr. Jazz Man. Hi from a brother in the Lord Jesus! Yes to your question. God bless!

  18. No they would not because they are sheep.

  19. It would be a situation like that in which the true test of faith would be exhibited....

Honestly, I'm ashamed to say that I probably not. I know people that would, however.

  20. Believeing is having faith. Beliefe has nothing to do with it. He exists because we have faith. So yes.

  21. If you have a true faith in God you cannot give it up under any circumstances, it is too precious,  for it is part of eternal life with God.

There is a story told of a priest and the atheist mayor of the town where they lived. They often conversed together about many things including the existence of God. The mayor asked the priest whether or not he would recant his faith if he were the only one left and was about to die for his faith.  The priest said certainly not. Then came the time when the priest was killed for his profession as a Christian.  That left the world entirely empty of Christians.  After this the mayor found himself asking the question, "But what if there is a God?"
