  1. I'm a Christian (Baptist at that) and my entire family celebrates Halloween. Some people view it as satanic, but we find it fun to dress up as characters and parade around for free candy. I see no problem with it or celebrating it...as long as it's not "worshiped" or you do satanic things on the day.

    Happy Early Halloween!

  2. NO THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH CELEBRATING HALLOWEEN. ENJOY IT ONLY COMES ONCE A YEAR.

  3. Umm... I am a christian and I am aloud to go trick-or-treating. My mother doesn't really get into the holiday due to the fact that she thinks it is Satan's holiday. But she does let of go trick-or-treating. Her only rule is we can't be any thing S****y or evil... A lot of Christian churches have Halloween Festivals, so kids are in a safer environment. But I don't think Christians despise of the holiday. I think it is how people use it.

Does your family not let you trick-or-treat? Hope I've helped. :)

  4. Halloween is born in christianity, Jews technically should not be celebrating it. But it has become a commercial holiday and everyone celebrates it as a fun holiday to dress up and eat junk for a day!!!

  5. The answer is yes and no. Most holidays Christians observe are very intertwined with pagan culture-just grab an encyclopedia and look them up. Halloween is also All Saints Day or All Hallow's Eve. These are days when Christians who believe in saints remember those who have gone before us. Because of the scary, spooky nature of halloween costumes, many associate it with the devil. Teaching children to demand candy and treats (with the impending threat of 'tricks') is not so great of an idea either. However, I think most Christians do not really take a stand against halloween any more than they do the other 'un-Christian' customs and practices of our day.
