  1. To make a reindeer is so easy.

    trace 1 foot for head

    trace 2 hands for antlers

    use wiggly eyes

a red pom pom for nose

use a marker to draw mouth

  2. you get those kinda like foam balls and some comfetty put some glue on the outside of the ball and then roll the ball in the comfetty then you put those little pipe cleaners on them andthey make really cute ornaments for the trees, have them color their own christmas trees, and there is a craft book at walmart for really cheap it has alot of arts and crafts in them a count down calendar is always fun but you would have to do most of the work for that age

  3. Here are some fun ideas--we did these when I taught preschool and I also did some of these with my girls last Christmas:

I love the everything preschool website, it's got great crafts! Have fun!

  4. paper streamer that they can wrap around a christmas cake.

I still have one nearly fifteen years old.

make big long paper lengths that you frill by cutting when the paper is folded - you cut about an inch and a half in. frill top and bottom and have the kids decorate with their own pictures or cut out christmas shapes and stick on

  5. Here are a few ideas:

-Make ornaments.  Find a playdough recipe that you can bake in the oven.  The kids can use cookie cutters to make different Christmas shapes, don't forget to use a straw to poke a hole for string before you bake!

-Frosty pictures.  Using crayons, color a winter scene picture on black or blue construction paper.  Boil about a cup of water and add about a cup of Epson Salts, disolve.  Have the kids brush the solution overtop of their pictures.  When it dries it should look frosty.  OR you can also dilute white paint with water in a spray bottle, invite the kids to spray "snow" onto their pictures.

-Photocopy a picture of Santa's face...have the kids color the pic and glue cotton balls on his beard.

-Trace kids hands on red and green paper.  Make a wreath with the hand cutouts.

Also check out this site for some great ideas...

  6. a good idea is to take three styrafoam balls, different sized, and put a stick down the middle to keep it together. then decorate it and put sticks for arms
