The AS Saint-Etienne coach knows that Les Verts need to be at their best if they want to get a positive result against Bordeaux at Stade Chaban Delmas this Wednesday
Saint-Etienne travel to Bordeaux, with a hope of getting a positive result in order to continue their fine run of form. ASSE have performed brilliantly in recent weeks and are currently fourth in the Ligue 1 with 26 points on the table after 16 games.
And coach, Christophe Galtier wants to continue that and has urged his players to play with same confidence and determination when they take on Girondins de Bordeaux on Wednesday.
While talking to reporters, Les Verts’ coach stated that that his players are tired in the wake of the hectic schedule but is confident that Saint-Etienne with deal with the fatigue factor. The boss added that it happens to all teams and it is not a big
deal and ASSE have the ability to overcome their troubles ahead of the Bordeaux game.
"The workforce is diminished but we have to face that, it happens to all teams," the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 coach told reporters at a press conference.
However, Galtier knows that they are in for real tough test as Bordeaux are an in-form team and have lost only twice this season. The 46-year-old tactician said that Les Girondins have performed brilliantly this season and they haven’t lost a single game
at home this season.
"Bordeaux have lost only two games since the start of the championship and are undefeated at home," he said.
Praising their Wednesday’s opponents, boss said that FCGB are a very strong side, especially on the left side, and they have played at the highest level. If Saint-Etienne wants to get something out of that game, they need to play without fear and players
need to put in a big performance.
"This is a team in great shape and I think their strong point is the left side. Les Girondins are also used to playing games at the highest level. We must put in a big performance to bring a positive result."
