The cash-laden club from Paris failed to nick a win against Marseille at Stade Velodrome and PSG captain, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christophe-Jallet-c9179 is not pleased with that.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international believes that the visitors were the better side on Sunday and they created a lot of opportunities as compared to their opponents.
While talking to ligue1.com, the 28-year-old said that a draw away from home, and against a team like Marseille, who are in such fine form at the moment, is a good result. However, Paris Saint-Germain should have done more in order to get all three points
on Sunday.
The Frenchman added that it’s the first time Les Parisiens have avoided defeat at Stade Velodrome since his arrival at Paris, and it’s a positive result nonetheless.
"I think it's a decent point but given the way the match went I think we could have hoped for more. It's the first time we've avoided defeat here since I joined the club, so that's positive.”
Despite the draw, Jallet is pleased with the way Paris Saint-Germain played against the league leaders.
The former Lorient player added that they have showed the world what they are capable of and despite not winning on Sunday, there are a lot of positives to be taken from the Clasico.
“We showed we're more than capable of competing with Marseille. That augurs well for the rest of the season, even if we've got a few regrets having been unable to secure the win this evening."
Jallet’ teammate, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 player added that the win would have pushed Paris Saint-Gemrain to the
top of the table.
"I'm leaving Marseille a touch disappointed and with the sentiment that we've dropped two points. It would have been good to have hit top spot tonight."
