The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international has praised his club teammate ahead of PSG’s Coupe de la Ligue encounter with AS Saint-Etienne and is confident that Paris Saint-Germain can win more than one trophy this season
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029 has earned a huge amount of plaudits since joining the Paris revolution earlier this summer, and has helped Paris Saint-Germain become a formidable force in France and Europe this season.
PSG captain, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christophe-Jallet-c9179, is a huge admirer of the Swede and has praised the 31-year-old ahead of Les Parisiens’ Coupe de la Ligue encounter with AS Saint-Etienne. While talking to reporters, the 29-year-old stated that Ibrahimovic is a world class
player and Paris Saint-Germain are lucky to have a player like him in their ranks.
The right-back added that there are not many strikers out there who are as good as the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sweden-c3015 international and it’s an honour to play alongside him. Jallet said that Ibrahimovic’s presence encourages other players to lift their game and he also loves to
help other players around him.
“He’s a top-class player, playing alongside him is both an honour and a pleasure. It’s also an extra source of motivation, and something that helps all the players around him to improve,” the former Lorient player told reporters.
Talking about strong competition for places at Paris Saint-Germain, Christophe Jallet said that its good for the club as it encourages players to raise their game, and it will help PSG in their quest for the Championelle.
“Competition [for places] pushes you to better yourself and the more good players we have in our group, the better chance we’ll have of winning titles.”
The France international said that it is normal for bigger clubs to have a large squad and it is unfair to criticise Les Parisiens for that. Jallet said that there is no disharmony in the team and every player has the desire to win titles.
“It’s true that we have quite a large squad, and some players obviously get a bit less playing time than others. But that’s how it is at the big clubs and we’re working together to win as many titles as possible this year.”
