I'm a beginner BMXer and I want to buy some pegs for my BMX. I have a choice between

Plastic Bicycle Pegs $25.99

Features

* High-density bonded plastic cover

* High-tensile steel core and base

* Pegs designed for safe BMX park-style riding

or

Hyper BMX Pegs $17.99

Features

* 38 x 110mm

* Hardcore chrome

They are both 38 x 110mm which will fit my 14mm.

I am mainly going to do street and flatland and occasionally park.

Which pegs am I better off with ?

  1. firstly... park and street pegs are different to flat land pegs...

    park ones are smooth and tend to be thiner

    while flatland tend to be wider and have grip on

    but anyway

    i ride with metal cos they are strong and are very unlikely to break...

    but plastic... i wouldn't...

    could snap or wear through on rough surfaces quite quickly!
