  1. Give up the junk food, start exercising and order some VEMMA.

In 2 weeks, you'll feel like a new person!!

learn more and order at www.cajunverve.com

  2. Buy some food grade hydrogen peroxide online and drink a few drops of it each day away from meals (along with gargling normal store grade).

That will probably do more than anything else you can get access to, unless you're in the mood to try and get ahold of some good quality colloidal silver.

  3. Some recommendations:  1)  What are you eating and drinking?  If it's a lot of junk food, sugar, empty calories, chips, caffeine and fast food, start by stopping with all that.  Chronic colds are an indication that a) you're eating c**p and not digesting it well either, b) you're running too cold and need to turn up the heat (agni or internal fire) of your digestion, c) that you way need to cut out the mucous forming foods you're consuming, ie dairy, eggs, white flour, fatty meats, especially beef and pork, creamy, custardy, full fat desserts, pastries, ice cream, mayonnaise d) that your immune system is REALLY messed up.  Start eating a lot more veggies, salads, fruits, non-cream based soups, LEAN proteins like fish, chicken, turkey, seafood NOT cooked in a ton of butter or oil.  Eliminate ALL deep fried food, white sugar, white flour, white rice and all processed foods from your diet for a good year (or forever, preferably).  Go to the healthfood store.  Form a relationship with the person who runs the supplement section and start taking tinctures for the immune system.  These would include:  echinaecea, astragalus, schizandra, propolis, usnea, royal jelly, ginseng, reishi, maiitake & shiitake mushrooms, alfalfa, myrrh, Kyo-Green dried barley juice powder which you can mix into your water and drink all day, every day, garlic (which you should be unsing LOTS of in your cooking and hopefully, juicing).  There are many more herbs you can acquaint yourself with.  You want to also focus on "hotting yourself up", so put lots of cayenne, ginger, scallions, chives, onions, wasabi, horseradish, mustard and mustard greens, and TONS of veggies into your diet.  Spicy foods are great for this condition, as long as they don't have a ton of fat, oil, lard or ghee in them.  Sour things like citrus juices, cranberries, some fruits, pickles, and vinegars are very good for the state you're in, as well.  You are also far better to cook your own food rather than eat out.  If that is not practicable, like I said, focus on whole grains, beans, veggies and lean protein w/ lots and lots of salad when you do go out.

Flus and colds are actually quite different from each other.  If you're getting those green, mucousy, slimy colds that hang on forever, as I've said, look at cleaning up your internal environment and lifestyle.  This kind of cold is usually a mucous/c**p/dead virus bodies/used up white cells and immune cells discharge.  If you're getting flus a lot, your immune system is not functioning well, and you need to address that.  Sometimes folks will get a flu when they're run down and need to take a serious rest and rejuvenate.  Many folks literally try to get by on 5 or 6 hrs. sleep per night, which cannot and does not work in the long term for most people's well-being.  Work also on exposing your skin to the sunlight for at least 10 minutes/day, and getting more Vit A as beta-carotene into your diet.  Raw carrot juice is a great source of beta carotenes.  So is a baked yam and a spinach salad or sauteed spinach in garlic w/ carmelized onions for lunch or dinner.  Add some salmon and some brown rice or quinoa, and you'll be in fine shape.  Mango and strawberries for dessert.  Email me if you need any more info.

Chronic flu can also be an early sign of an auto-immune disease, so if this keeps happening, a trip to your PCP would be an excellent idea, especially if that primary physician leans towards naturopathic methods of healing rather than the "Here, take this drug and come back in 2 weeks or a month..." approach.  Additionally, if you've been eating a crappy diet for a long time, do not at all be surprised if changing your diet precipitates a healing crisis that really lays you out flat for awhile.  It's completely common that this happens when folks change their diet and lifestyle.  Expect it.  The only way out is through.  You'll feel much better after you've discharged all the crud that's hanging out in your system.  (And you'll be amazed at how much crud there is in you, and anyone else who hasn't been taking good care of themselves.)  If you're smoking cigarettes or lots of weed, lot at stopping, especially with the cigarettes.  One of the best things you could possibly do for your health.
