Question:

Chronic headaches????

I have headaches almost everyday. I went to a neurologist and he said he couldn't find anything the matter. My doctor can't put me on meds for the headaches because I'm on other medications for depression/bipolar. My doctor recently took me off of a medication that had a 1/3 chance of migranes and it was only suppose to take 2 weeks to get out of my system and it's already been a month. None of my doctors are taking it serriously and it is horrible. I can't do anything I like anymore and I'm always drugged up on ibuprofen. Please give me some advice!!

  1. My dr put me on imitrex and I also was on a med for depression/bipolar.  Then after a while he put me on a blood pressure med as a preventative medication for headaches.  You should maybe talk to your dr about that.  I think it was atenolol or something like that.  I dont know.  I get migraines alot and the over the counter stuff doesnt work.  But if you cannot get a dr precribed med... try a more stronger head ache med like aleve or excedrin migraine.  Those to are my go to pills when I dont have my prescrition.  good luck... i know what your going through.
