  1. It is, but it is kind of dorky and badly put together. You should try to read a summary or skim the book.

  2. You should be able to skim the book and get a good grasp on the plot and characters in about 2 hours.  The thing to remember about "Nephew" is that although it was the 6th book written, it was the first book in the chronology of Narnia.  This is the book that tells how Narnia was created, why the wardrobe in the Professor's house was a magic portal to Narnia, and why travel between the Earth and Narnia by human children was so important.  You also find out what the Professor was like as a young boy and you see how the appearance of the White Witch (in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe) was his fault.  And you'll find out why there was a lamp-post in the woods of Narnia that was always burning.

You can skim the book a whole lot faster than you can get to 3 or 4 bookstores to find one that has the CliffNotes.  The video doesn't give you enough information for a book report or a test.
