Chun li fighting style?

Question

So up until well tonight I thought chun li was a based upon a real person since I use alot of her leg fighting techniques except for the ones that are impossible(like the air combo ones and rapid kicks). Anywho the point is I was looking for the fighting style the creators based hers off of and I cant seem to find it. Can anyone help me. Like I mentioned before in martial arts my main style is floor and leg techniques. So if anyone knows the components used in the make up of Chun Li I would be ever thankful. ^^

Tae kwando. the rapid kicks are basically those combination roundhouses that you strike low then high .

you can also see that she barely uses her hands.

tae kwon do is her style I think. In video games it does say she uses tia chi , but all she does is krazy kicks from all angles. and thats TKD for you lots and lots of kicks. If you are intreseted go check out the yellow pages or the internet and you can find a local TKD school around where you live its a fun martial art and a good work out.

Chun Li.... from Street Fighter?

I don't really think you should rely on my answer, since I'm going to pull from a few sites that say different things. (sorry, I've only played the game when I was a kid)

This says, she uses Wu Shu

she uses an offensive form of tai chi

she is from china, tai chi is a chinese martial art, plus it says that she does tai chi also the way she creates those orbs that attacks, her hand movement is a tai chi form
