Church Bell Ringing. I need help to improve.....suggestions please.?

Question

I have been ringing for a couple of years but am not progressing. I just can't get "rope-sight" or count my places. I can't even hear my bell in relation to the other bells.

I have read the books and understand all the theory and have sympathetic fellow ringers who give me advice but still I s***w up.

I don't want to give up but am frustrated.

Please give me some suggestions on how to improve.

Don't force the issue, otherwise the bells will ring but than it will not be for long.

You have to be patient and reactive to positive situations and thing will happen.
