Put it on your shoulder blades rather than between them.... better effect, and technically I think that's where they would be.

maybe the middle because you would lose the purpose of the tat. it's suposed to resimble angel wings on you.

If your going to get angel wings do it right.  Get the whole back done to where the wings are almost life size.  Go fantastic not small and forgettable.  It will take many sittings under the needle it will cost so much more but it is on your body for life.  So do it right.
