  1. Cillian! Yeah! I love Irish names.

  2. I like the name Cillian.

  3. ciaran

  4. I like both (though I would pronounce Ciarán as "keerawn", and Kieren and "keerin". At the moment, my favouirte is Cillian...I think

  5. I love the name Cillian! It makes me think of Cillian Murphy. :)

Ciaran is a nice name too, but I would change the spelling. I had no idea how to pronounce it.

    Good luck!

  6. I like Ciaran better....but you are seriously going to have to rethink the spelling.

  7. Both your child will have to consistantly explain the pronounciation all her life. I thought they were pronounced See-air-uhn and Silly-enn

  8. Ciarán is pronounced keerawn not keerin.

    I like them both.

Its tough to choose between them.

If I had to choose I would go with Ciarán because its such a strong name.

  9. Ciaran though people may not know how to pronounce it and.

  10. its spelt Kieran btw

  11. ciaran (:

  12. Ciaran, but neither one is a bad choice. I like Cillian too, but it makes me think of the beer, Killian's Irish Red, and it does have the word 'kill' in it. I think Ciaran is a bit safer of a choice, while still being distinctive.

  13. I like Cillian better. To me Ciarin sounds very feminine. Although originally in Ireland it is a males name, and would go over great there, here we have popular girls names like Ciara, Kiara, Kara, Karen, etc...

    Cillian is a great name.

  14. if you have to tell us how to pronounce them, that poor kid will have to do that EVERY TIME his name is on a list.  A life time of WHAT? Don't do that to your kid.  I know you want to be creative and all, but save your creativity for craft time and give your kid a decent name.  Those spellings look nothing like the should be.  Just because you said it's supposed to be pronounced that way doesn't make it correct.  Sorry.

  15. I like Ciaran. Maybe spell it Kirin or Kiran. I too like Irish names myself. For those who cannot pick up a book or have short attention spans, I guess plain old names will do. But I would hate to see that. :(
