Ciba Vision Night & Day contacts. If I don't sleep in them can I wear them for twice as long?

The contact lenses by Ciba Vision Night & Day you can sleep in them and use it for one month.

The thing is I take them off during night before bed, so can the lenses therefore be used twice as long (2 months)?

I wear disposable contact lenses, and i can wear them for about a month if I clean them everytime i take them out at night.  They say you're suppose to throw them out after 14 days, but I found that I can make them last if I take good care of them. I would never go up to 2 months though.

Don't sleep in them either even if they're night contacts because they can get in the back of your eyes.

I use to wear Ciba, the year-long contact lenses, but I found that towards the end of the year that it would always make my eyes gooby. My doctor says it's because of how old & worn out the contact lens would turn out after a year. So now I wear disposable.

No. The material the lens is made out of starts breaking down as soon as you put it in your eyes, and by the time the month is out, they're no longer good for your eyes - they're not breathable and you could get an infection easier.

No, never extend the usage of the lenses. It is recommended to remove the lenses before going to sleep even it is a continuous wear type.
