I am leaving this Friday to Spain and my mom heard you can only have 2 cartons of cigarettes in your suitcases and that is all your allowed. Is that true? I know you can purchase them in the Duty Free store which is what I plan to do as well but am wondering if there really is a limit of cigarettes in your suitcase.

  1. Actually you are only allowed one carton or 200 cigarettes per person duty-free. In most cases you can bring as many as you want within reason, but you legally you should declare any amount over 200 cigarettes and pay duty on them.
