Cigarettes from Costa Rica!?

how much are they in costa rica and will i be able to bring them back to the united states?

You can buy cigarettes for 5 to 20 dollars and are allowed one carton which you have to declare or risk confiscation.  For any other information about Costa Rica, go to our web directory.

Depends on the brand you buy. 5-20US$. You can bring back one carton.

You may bring back more but you may have to pay duty. You also have to be on the lookout for knockoff brands. Customs will just confiscate those.

I just got back and bought a carton of Marboro Reds for $12.00.  I brought 1 carton home with me (which I told customs), not sure I would be able to legally bring back more.
