how much are cigarettes in madrid. 200 mayfair for example.

also can i buy them from the city centre?

Cigarettes cost between 2.50 and 4.50 euros for a pack of 20 depending on the brand. Since I don't smoke I can't tell you how much Mayfair costs, or even if it is sold in Spain.

You will find cigarette machines selling packs of 20 in most bars. If you want to buy 200, then you'll need to go to a tobacconist. They're called estancos in Spanish. Look for the brown and yellow "TABAC" signs.

Everyone smokes in Spain, its unreal, I know when I was in Spain I was constantly offered a cig where ever I went. Every cab I took the cab driver would pull his pack from his shirt pocket and offer me a smoke. If you cant buy them smoke O.P.'s.
