So I have not smoked for a while and my cardio has gotton decent but the last two night I got drunk and smoked a lot of cigs and a little weed (after reading eddie Bravos Book i had to smoke some weed and then practice ju jitsu hi) So do you think my cardio will be effected much when i go to bjj class tonight?

It was a controlled event and won't happen again. You think i'll feel it though?

  1. Dude, leave the cigs and the pot alone, completely. trust me.

  2. I read all of Bravo's books and he said that he started to toke before training after he talked to a world class BJJ champion who said he always gets baked before rolling as the technique and moves come a lot more naturally, kind of like getting a little tipsy and getting more talkative (before you get too drunk and sloppy) so his outlook on MJ is legit BUT he doesn't smoke cigs, drink and he had to train himself to smoke weed in such a way to have it benefit his training.. he wasn't slack or dumb about it.. plus the chronic he uses is very high grade stuff.. it's not c**p.. lol.. but yeah... YOU WILL FEEL IT lol... if you wanna train baked, do it... but leave all that other c**p out..

  3. Maybe a little but,  smoking in moderation can actually help the lungs expand and increase the capacity of air and oxygen you are able to hold so you should be OK provided you don't constantly do this.

  4. Not going to start givin you hard time, but yes you will feel it when you smoke you aggrivate and enflame your lungs, the stuff youre gonna spit up in the morning should be an interesting colour tho,

  5. the important thing for me is not if it will affect your cardio for just tonite but rather the long term effect on your respiratory system.
